London, England – Muslims living in Britain are facing two choices; either to migrate or to join the jihad, a key Islamic figure has said.
Sheikh Omar Bakir Muhammed, leader of the now officially disbanded Islamic militant group Al Muhajiroun told United Press International Saturday that as the covenant of security under which Muslims previously lived in Britain has been broken, Muslims must now consider themselves at war.
"And I declare we should ourselves join the global Islamic camp against the global crusade camp," he said.
What violated the covenant, according to Sheikh Omar, was the anti-terrorist legislation introduced in the United Kingdom after the 9/11 attacks. If the British government would review these policies and release those detained without trial in Belmarsh prison and elsewhere, Muslims could live at peace in Britain. Otherwise, they must prepare themselves to fight.
"The response from the Muslims will be horrendous if the British government continues in the way it treats Muslims," he said, adding that suicide bombings were a possibility.
He called on Muslims to form a new coalition united behind al-Qaida with Osama Bin Laden as their leader.
This jihadi group would replace Al-Muhajiroun, which is no longer needed, he said. By dissolving such parties the Muslim community will have to come together, and as the judge of the Sharia court in Britain, he is the one to unite them, he added.
Those who did not wish to either leave or fight would not be regarded as Muslims, said Sheikh Omar, condemning in particular the Muslim Council of Britain for urging the Muslim community to cooperate with the British government.

A Brit cyber-buddy has a hobby web site and he had the idea that he might start a fledgling Free Republic-type board there in the UK which would cater to all the Anglosphere countries and Israel.
He asked me to sign on as a moderator because I spend a lot of time lioiking for good articles and because I has some previous experience with the British scene due to my previous participation with the now-defunct Free Britannia.
But it soon became evident that the existing members of the board — which included at least one Nazi, some British National Party types and a bunch of other self-styled Brit conservatives — would have none of it.
They wanted their own little closed British system where they could bad-mouth immigrants, America in general and Bush in particular.
They disrupted the board to such an extent that I threw up my hands in frustration and told them to shove it.
On free Britannia it was the liberals that gave us trouble, this time it was the 'conservatives' who acted like boors.
I very much fear that Britain is a lost cause.
They have well and truly become sheeple, dutifully wandering hither and yon in compliance with the latest dictates of the BBC.

But what about when the suicide bombings start? The beheading incountry? Do you think they will wake up? I don't want Britain to fall to the muslims. I'd prefer all of Europe to not fall the islam, but especially Britain.
The most common attitude I encountered was that the Muslim threat is pretty much like the IRA terrorism, that if they just don't allow it to bother them it will eventually go away.

The Brits dithered for years, and then stood up to fight the Nazis. When they get through dithering, I'm sure they'll do what we should be doing now, which is send all of these folks back to their home countries, dynamite their mosques and go a little insular for a while. If the government doesn't do it, I am confident that the British themselves will take over the task.

People can argue with me and heck, I could be wrong. But the numbers don't lie and they're atrocious.
Here's some numbers for you: 1.4 2.1 4.6
European women have 1.4 children each. Replacement rate is 2.1 per. Muslim is 4.6. Do the math. Even if all immigration stopped today, the muslims would still outbreed the Euro's.

That's the number of "Islamic Enclaves" in France according to French Secret Service (sorta the FBI I understand) where French law is not in effect and french police and emergency services dare not go.

I'm pretty pessimistic about that too. These aren't all people who just 'got off the boat'. These are 2nd and 3rd generation Brit/euro citizens that you're talkig about. in 42 it was easy to identify the enemy. It's gonna be a lot harder now, even if the brits could muster the will.
I think Britain and Europe will turn around, realize they were wrong and fight the Mooslums. It will be bloody and long but they will persevere. Of course if they start now thinks will be less bloody.
Everyone counts the Brits out too easily.

Your comment is indicitive of the difference between Conservatives and liberals. Conservatives want the good of all nations to remain solid and independent. liberals want only the "combined world" and to them that world means under muslim domination. I based this conclusion on their continued refusal to condemn and to work for the control of muslim extremists. Instead of acknowledging this extremism and its threat to the world, they look to shift the blame on the the US and any other Christians that are convenient.
I don't know what the brits are supposed to fight with. They handed in their guns, remember? By LAW! Thats also somethimg that people seem to forget.
All the wussified "hate crimes-multi/culti" laws that send you to jail if you even sneeze at someone else. The LAW acts against citizens in this case.

The probablem is that there is nothing on the conservative side that is even remotely comparable in influence to the BBC.
Even so-called conservative papers like The Times and The Telegraph carry as many liberal op/eds as conservative.
Truth to tell, there is nothing equivalent in the UK to American conservatism.
The political spectrum goes from the just-slightly-right-or-center to the UK equivalent of paleoconservatism, the British National Party.
They are illegal immigrants (and considered a serious security threat), and are locked up pending deportation and are free to go back to their own countries any time. However, because they are likely to be tortured or killed by their own governments, they prefer to stay in a UK prison.
