Hillary is even more of a liberal than her husband. She's good at camouflaging it when its politically expedient but there's no doubt about her beliefs - hard Left.

all women by 64-29 and unmarried women by 69-24 and people under 30 by 73-20.

No fricking way. There's no way in hell that 64% of women support Hitlery. I know as many women that can't stand that woman as I do women that like her. Heck, even my liberal (public school teacher) girlfriend doesn't really like her.

If kerry can't win with 100% of the vote he got, how can she win with 80% of his vote? Lessons from last election.....Don't believe polls or morris.

Time out, the poll asked whether people thought she was qualified REGARDLESS or whether they would vote for her or not. Try asking that question and see what you get.

I agree that Hillary is going to be far tougher to beat than many here think.

It's the "all women" numbers that concern me. Women elected Bill, twice.

With a complicit press who won't ask the hard questions, we're going to be in for a big fight. The press proved they can go an entire year without questioning a presidential candidate if they are a Democrat.

I don't think Kerry faced any difficult questioning once in an entire year.

Morris is a toe suckin idiot. This last election he went one week to the next altenately saying Bush was toast, to he's unbeatable, and back & forth. Guess that way he covers his bases. He's useless.

"In a poll taken last month, Americans said they felt the New York Democrat was “qualified to be president of the United States” by 59-34 percent."

Last time I checked, anyone who was at least 35 years old and a natural-born citizen was “qualified to be president of the United States”. Heck, Michael Jackson and Morley Safer are “qualified to be president of the United States”. For that matter, so is Dick Morris. What's the big deal?

All I know is there is no way in h*** the Dems are going to let themselves be beaten next time.
In 2008 they are going to try and play it very, very smart.

To my way of thinking, Hilary is not a smart choice. I have no idea who would be, but she seems too much like a cartoonish, fantasy candidate, a wet dream liberal idea to 'exorcise' 2000 and 2004.

It seems that Bush's only weakness with his recent supporters is on immigration, and whatever quiet game Hilary is playing now I can't believe she'll stand up in 2008 and be for stronger measures against illegals than GWB. Even if he opens the floodgates, her policy would be to give them life-jackets and kayaks.

This numbers are not at all different that the ones of a "Generic" Democrat beating George Bush at the start of the last election. "A" Democrat was regularly trouncing President Bush by 10-12 points until some names started being taken seriously.

This no different. One Hillary is running against "Somebody" not just "Anybody", her numbers are very likely to fall. I see her having problems holding on to her Senate seat and a few chinks in her armor are going to have to be exposed during that run. Also, what she is going to have to commit to to win her Senate seat in New York she will have to flip-flop on to win nationally. We all saw how well flip-flopping and nuance worked for Keryy, didn't we.

If Condi runs - Condi will win. Most women and blacks will vote for her even if they disagree with her politics. Think about it - the first woman President and the first black President - a Republican! The Democrats would soil their pants!

Morris is desperate to make us all sick. I think he likes stirring the controversial pot to keep his gig as commentator.

Only people who think that politicians can't re-invent themselves think Hildebeast is DOA for '08. Take a Vietnam traitor with an uppity accent mix one part MSM and one part cold hard cash for production value-filled events and ads and you have a guy who came a little over 100K votes from winning the EC and the WH. Hillary is smarter than Kerry, doesn't have SwiftVets breathing down her neck, has a better relationship with the MSM, has novelty (as a woman and former first lady), and will have way more cash than Kerry had.

The part of the story in bold is key. How you can draw conclusions after prefracing a question with the little beauty below is beyond me. I know Dick Morris is a shrewd political analyst, so I have to wonder if there's not more going on here than meets the eye. Several of his last articles on Hitlery have been sympathetic to her to say the least. Dick trying to wiggle back in with the Arkansas Mafia?

of course, many of those voters would not actually support Hillary, and the Fox News poll was careful to precede the question by saying, “Regardless of whether you would vote for Hillary Clinton or not, …” the breadth of her acceptability indicates that she has passed the national threshold for political viability.

I think a scandal will bring down the Hildabeast before '08. They just started by bagging her money man. For eight years she had Willie J. Caligula running interference for her from the Oral Office and Janet FrankenReno sweeping the corruption under the rug at Justice, but she doesn't have that castle wall between her and the truth anymore. I submit that there are operatives out there with some really sleazy dish on her, and they're just waiting for the right moment to light the fuse on it. Her Joan of Arc routine won't get her fat ass out of whatever sling it's in next time.

The assumption that she is radioactive among moderates and will self-destruct is comforting but completely untrue. Hillary will be the strongest Democratic candidate since her husband ran.

And she will get 42-46%, just as her husband did.

Absent H. Ross Perot, Bill Clinton would only have gotten into the White House as part of a public sightseeing tour. Clinton needed the help of a third party, because his support maxed out in the mid 40's.

Hillary! is seen as merely qualified by 80% of Kerry supporters, and unqualified by 13% with 7% (presumably) unsure. If Hillary! loses 13% of the Kerry vote, how is she going to replace it? She is left with 48% minus (48% * 13%), which leaves her at 41.5%

This is more or less what Bubba got in '92. But thanks to H. Ross Perot, it was enough. Hillary! will not be so lucky in 2008...
