I have heard Jimmy Wallet say he went to the store to get provisions for their evacuation, then I heard he went to the store to get ice cream, and then I heard he planned on taking his family to the beach because it was a nice day.
And I am trying to not even pay attention to it all.
Now the residents are saying they couldnt escape because the state closed the 101.
Yeh! A friend of mine in San Luis Obispo said last night that the residents are also insisting that LEO "knew something was impending (from seismic readings)," even going so far as to discuss it amongst themselves on their radios, but decided not to inform the people who lived there.
hm. Your dream took flight. That's neat. Maybe a sense of safety is the memory you took to. I've been up to Big Bear once, in the off-season. My husband's family held a reunion at, oh, what was it. It was really remote; can't remember the name. Kids panned for gold and we wandered around a sunny meadow all afternoon. Anyway, we stayed at a cabin in BB and it was fun. Oh, I remember, we watched Tyson bite Holyfield's ear that weekend. We all sat in the living room, having bought the fight on PPV, silent for about 2 seconds, then the room erupted in NO WAYs! :-)
Alright teaser!
PLEASE SHARE THE DREAM! Here or on the PROPHETIC SIGNS thread!

When it rains it...er...pours.
Green River Golf Course is flooded.
Up in the Mountains, 18 is now closed up on The Rim too. My drive up should be fun. If I didn't need to get a look at the damage to my house, I wouldn't go.
When the news was first breaking about the L.C. mudslide, I distinctly remember the report "they were in the process of evacuating at the time." Was that also not true?
They just updated the warnings.....the OC might be SOL

Wow, Lainie, quite a spectacular photo. Thanks for the ping!
Just dont participate in the flash flood !
One thought comes to mind. In some parts of the country there is the oft repeated rumor that when the "large" quake occurs on the San Andreas Fault, California will break off into the ocean.
Maybe there is some truth to the rumor after all, only with the change that California will break off in bits and pieces.
They sure do have good Gumbo over around Bay Saint Louis.
Hey my maid down in Colombia, SA fixed me something special for a party. When she brought me the bowl is was some of the best Gumbo I have ever eaten.
Drove by Prado Dam last night on my way to the mountains. There was heavy equipment all over the face of the dam and the place was lit up like high noon.
I went northbound on I-5 today. Here is a picture of the 12 mile back up....still only one lane....took the CA14 on the way back and there are a lot of people detouring on that....!
