They remind me of the Upright Citizens Brigade. Just going around creating chaos were there is none. Stupid pranks with no real objective.
Right or wrong, the invisible suit guy picture is pretty damn funny.
"If these idiot dweebes did push that woman, they should be behind bars even if she is a reporter!"
"I read the post."
Obviously, not ALL of it!
"A police investigation found no wrong doing on the part of NEWSBREAKERS. "
"The video reveals that the WROC reporter instead pushed NEWSBREAKERS senior political correspondent Buck Owens."
but, but it seemed like such a good idea back at the frat house...
We got that covered now. Thank you.
Links in the story I provided gives sources outside of NewsBreakers as well...videos, news reporting police "do not" file charges and other medias news stories. It would always be good to read "all" before posting..that's why I place them all in the commentary as well. If no one is going to bother with the links, why should I bother to even post them. Would make posting a story much easier. But I thought some might have "inquiring minds" that "want to know". Others, I realize, will always just speed read and say this is crap! ;)
(this is a general comment in part not directed at one person)
Yep...sure does. Look at how they put it:
The group claimed to be a local media watchdog organization. But the group may be nothing more than pranksters intent on interrupting local news coverage.
But as you pointed out, their press release clearly states that they are fighting against the MSM...so that's pretty good clue about why they are getting libeled in this whole thing. I would love it if libel charges actually got filed for it. (OF course, they've got the harassment charge hanging over them...and I'm sure a few little strings could be pulled.)
Anyway, to claim NEWSBREAKERS has no cause is to buy into exactly what the MSM wants--they want you to think these are just nuts and not listen to their points. I'm surprised FReepers aren't supportive of their efforts to break the MSM's grip on the airwaves.
Ahh...thanks for taking the time to REALLY read. Much appreciated.

No problemo!
I bet they are just shaking in their penny loafers! ;)
Well, the MSM suckered you nicely! You ate up that line in their story, eh?
No they did not push the news person..you can read that in their story which is not video which I provided ..on given above links. In fact she touched him; but was mostly out of "surprise", so I would not call that a threatening action either.
Wearing penny loafers would be a big step towards normal for 'em. ; )
I have dialup too, *sigh*....didn't see the video. Comment was on the obvious bias in story.
Ah.. the power of the media in the words they choose to deliver a story..how did they determine there was "no objective" when the NewBreakers web site states possible objectives. Could they have written "A specific objective was not known at this time?
Wouldn't it not have been great to have been able to read both sides of this report in one news story? I had to search to find both sides. Make it easy to give the reader a chance to form his or her own conclusion after reading all of the facts. But then that couldn't happen as the news media was part of the news!
Stupid "non-story" or not, this was my intent to show the media is sometimes incapable of reporting the facts. I would not have become so biased on this piece (evident above), if I had not had to search for facts which had been purposely or maybe through laziness eliminated from the story at hand by the CBS affiliate.
We didn't go to journalism school, so help us with the logic on this story. It goes like this:
These NEWSBREAKERS guys are pranksters who took up valuable air time during which WROC could have brought you important news and information. So now, instead of bringing you, the viewer, important news and information, WROC is bringing you the story of pranksters who took up valuable air time during which WROC could have brought you...(means this story was better than the one they were going after..and really is a NON-STORY, so what does that say for their "on location hospital story"..)
And they teased it the hour before, right after Montel! http://www.newsbreakers.org/video.htm
I think it's an upside down Christmas bell ornament that he scored off of someone's discarded Christmas tree that was laying at the curb.
