1) Is the "performance" at a Presidential Inaugural by Kid Rock "appropriate"? His genre of "entertainment" is graphically vulgar, obscene, coarse, and debases and degrades our wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters. Either that is acceptable to you or it isn't.
2) Should venue "performances" before the troops in combat zones, concerts, or living room be compared to that of an official Presidential Inaugural Event?
3) Some of us -- including Zell Miller -- feel Rock went over the line by treating the American Flag like a beach towel. We didn't like it, but others thought it was "patriotic."
4) NOBODY -- NOT California Patriot nor myself has EVER condoned censoring the "music" OR "act" of Kid Rock. Considering his "material" and his philosophy, we simply deem his presense inappropriate at the Inaugural.
5) How is it one can be Attilla the Hun, but waving an American flag suddenly make them "acceptable"? I needn't aplogize standards with which you disagree.
Now if all this "standard bearing" makes you consider me and millions of American "zealots" and "cultist," then look around. We're all over Free Republic.

Kid Rock playing at a youth-oriented side party after the Inaug. is such a non-issue. Perhaps the fervor used to denounce his appearance would best be used to denounce some of the real scum that gets invited to the WH under the guise of "foreign relations"...
