MSNBC is now reporting that up to 6 other senators (1 possible republican) will give statements of support for contesting the election. There were no names given. Barbara Boxer is confirmed to be the only senator on record to say she is now going to contest the election along with Conyers and a few others from congress.
The report went on to say that the debate (if all 6 come on board) will only be about 30 minutes, due to the 5 minute rule per senator. The report also said that Bush's victory his not in jepordy.
I still think the media may eat crow on this but anyone have any thoughts?
It is taking all of my restraint to not utter a string of obscenities directed at the left. It simply amazes me how ignorant and blind the left is, that they cannot see that they are slowly driving the stake through their own hearts. The only thing stopping me is that it does put them further out on that weak limb they've been standing on for a few years now.
As for New Coke, it was actually a brilliant screw up. Instead of Coke vs. Pepsi, it allowed them to re-brand the original as Coke Classic, much more distinguished and sentimental. Plus, they had tens upons tens of millions of consumers in the US not only buying their product, but actually DEMANDING their product. Gotta love a company that can make the consumer protest and demand that the company make and sell them a product...
Loved your letter. Just the right touch of sarcasm, mixed with a blend of humor. Nice job.
30 more minutes of pure lunacy from the left. Let the intellect of these morons shine through!
Then go to a site for Independents. It's sad to see your moral equivalizing of the two parties, as if both were anywhere near equally bad.
McCain?
DUmbocrats have really been abusing the system this cycle. They fail to understand that their actions work against everyone.
By contesting and recounting elections that show a clear winner they gaurantee that legislation will be passed to prevent this type of activity.
Will make recounts and contests harder in legitimate circumstances. Ohio is already talking about rewriting their recount statutes that were written in the 1950's.
Will up the cost and thresh-hold so that DUmmie Greens can not afford to abuse the system.
We will see other states and maybe Feds do the same.
It is shameful conduct from the leftwing and they will pay the price I am sure!
=8-]
Probably Sen. Lincoln Chafee
Lincoln Chafee
Really - it is hard to believe their invincible stupidity --- the GOP's prospects for 2006 look brighter every day. How fortunate we are to have such fools for enemies.
Anyone who would quote Jon Stewart has some serious flaws in my opinion.
It appears now Democrats will contest every Presidential election they lose in order to undermine our Constitutional Republic. The GOP must realize their is to be no compromise with them for they seek our destruction. Imagine if Democrats had won control of Congress? They would immediately use the Nuclear Option and every tool to silence the GOP and Conservatives.
They're so wired up over today's certification on DU that they're about to burst! Giant fonts with lots of exclamation points everywhere. "Call, fax, and e-mail all senators and everyone you know" rules the day. They're propping each other up with war talk like William Wallace rallying the Scots before the big battle with the English, but they're really just Pee Wee Hermans looking for their really kean bicycles.
Boxer on now on CSPAN2..Fight for electoral justice!
What if it's more than 1 Republican?
Chaffee and McCain?
BOXER on C-span2 NOW!!
You have got to be kidding me. Will this crap ever end? Guess Soros' little foundations and training is paying off in contesting elections. Didn't win? Contest and revote (just make sure the other guy is hampered then). Still didn't win? Keep contesting to delegitimize the winner or hamstring him till the next election). Yup, democracy the new way, the Soros/Third Way.
Thanks for the heads up! You're the best.
No way. McCain has too much at stake.
This is Lincoln Chafee all the way.
