Though it is true that sometimes it is lawful to tolerate a lesser moral evil in order to avoid a greater evil or in order to promote a greater good," it is never lawful, even for the gravest reasons, to do evil that good may come of it (18)in other words, to intend directly something which of its very nature contradicts the moral order, and which must therefore be judged unworthy of man, even though the intention is to protect or promote the welfare of an individual, of a family or of society in general.

"I want to add that some religious groups deliver pamphlets to women before they enter the clinic. I've seen that they look at those pamphlets that show the formation of a baby week after week. Some reconsider and leave the clinic. They are few, but sometimes it happens." Keep up the good work! You do make a difference.

I remember seeing
Silent Scream when I was 15 years old in the Christian Morality class at my Catholic high school. I couldn't believe what I saw, and it was one of the few time I felt ill after watching something. I have been pro-life ever since.

He told me to talk to a priest, but I'm afraid. I can't see how I can in all conscience walk into a church. I know the trouble that I'm in. I know the situation I'm in, and what it is I need to do. Yeni, dear, you absolutely, desperately need to walk into a Church ... and head straight for the confessional. Deciding to make a good Confession will be one of the hardest things you do ... actually making it will probably be surprisingly easy, and the best thing you will ever have done.

NOTE #1: Joe Schiendler's group (PLA?) makes videos of interviews with people who have left the abortion industry. They are called "The Abortion Providers." numbers 1, 2, etc.
NOTE #2: One of the abortionist interviewed told about how the first abortion he saw hurt like a hot coal, the next wasn't quite as bad, the next hurt even less. He had the same reaction when he actually did the abortions. Similar to what Yeni felt maybe.
NOTE #3: A Chicago Newspaper printed a series of articles in 1980 or so, called "The Abortion Providers." Does anyone know if this is online anywhere? I have a bad copy of the articles and they are definately worth sharing.

Wow. I am sitting here at work with tears in my eyes. The moral state of this country is just getting worse and worse. 50 years ago, homosexuality was thought of by most as disgusting and abortion was illegal. Now, abortion is legal and anyone who thinks or speaks out against homosexuality is looked down upon and persecuted. I'd hate to see America in another 50 years...

I saw our second child on the ultrasound two days ago. It was such a joy to see her/him for the first time. The child's tiny heart beating was clearly visible at 2 1/2 months. How anyone could terminate that is beyond my comprehension.

I live in Chula Vista, perhaps blocks from this very clinic.
Can't find an address, and I don't speak Spanish.
Probably a good thing, I'm so disgusted.

Yesterday I followed a link on livejournal and ended up in a livejournal group of i'm not sorry. It was so sick to read the latest post on that journal. The woman posting said while she waited she talked to the nurse about her life, job, cats, etc. The nurse told her she wouldn't want a baby right now, anyhow, since a baby wouldn't be as cute as the cats. I couldn't read any further. I feel sick when I read these, but try to just to affirm again why I am very pro-life.
