Better get used to President Giuliani.

The constantly-bleating, haranguing, gun-to-the-head, "I'm gonna sit at home again", "I'm so pure, I wouldn't even vote for myself", utopian, cranky, self-appointed but not representative, keyboard-spamming 'voices of social conservatism' will sooner or later find fault with almost every primary candidate and end-up splitting their vote, while simultaneously ticking off most primary voters because they NEVER SHUT UP, even for a second.

Keep up with the daily 'bash-Rudy', 'bash CINO-Bush', 'bash the party heathens', 'we are owed and we want everything yesterday', and 'everybody is a RINO but me' threads and the re will be a bit of an undercurrent backlash and schadenfraude when Rudy emerges as the GOP candidate. Right now he isn't my first choice, but I'll support him in the general should he win the primary(and I'd bet money that he will.)

You may not what to hear that, but consider it helpful advice. Annoyance is not the path to victory.

You obvioulsy dont know Giuliani.

Giuliani is his own worst enemy in elections.

Even if Giuliani somehow manages to overcome all his liberal stances to even be considered a GOP contender for President his character will hurt him. This man doesnt know a thing about loyalty or doing what is right. Giuliani has a habit of ENDORSING DEMOCRATS and speaking highly of them. He has that "Mavrick" element the media loves, but GOP voters will hate.

His personal probelms are another major issue. If the GOP nominates this guy we all look like such big hypocrits. The party of Family Values nominated a degenerate womanizer.

If Hillary were to become the nominee she would push his buttons to the limit becaue Guiliani has a major TEMPER problem. In 1993 when he ran he joined the police protest who wanted higher pay and started cursing on TV spewing the F Word. That will not play out well across the South and Mid West. If Giuliani loses his temper in a debate can you say President Hillary Clinton.

The list of whats wrong with Giuliani goes on an on. Make no mistake Giuliani was a great mayor compared to the other garbage NYC has to offer, which isnt hard to top. In NYC if you believe in punishing criminals you are considered a hard right winger. For Mayor, Senator, and Governor I would vote for Giuliani in a heartbeat, but as for President Hell NO.

What is the difference between Giuliani and a liberal Democrat? There is none.

You might say the War on Terror but Giuliani is so in favor of wide open borders he would allow another 9/11 to happen just to keep them open.

All these pundits for Giuliani on this board have no idea who they are talking about. People here live in denial and talk about a candidate the way they want him to be rather than is in reality. Giuliani in their fantasy is the guy who can beat Hillary and save the GOP, when in reality Giuliani will drag down anything he touches. If it wasn't for 9/11 Giuliani would have been nowhere, and he cant ride on that mayor of America thing until 2008. So please dont be calling elections that are 4 years away.

Cheney/Rumsfeld 2008 would be great other great GOP contenders are Tom Delay, Bill Owens, Mark Sanford. If this past election taught us anything it is that America is heading to the right and craves for a Conservative candidate. Im not sure who that viable candidate is right now, but I know for sure all these Rinos mentioned will only lead to defeat.

You are absolutely correct. A Guiliani candidacy will result in a Democrat president. What do you think about Governor Sanford? He's my man at this point.
