Gregoire's Acceptance Speech
Associated Press via KGW ^ | 30 December 2004 | Christine Gregoire (a.k.a. Gregovych, Gregovich, Fraudoire)

Posted on 12/30/2004 9:28:58 PM PST by Josef1235

Here is Gov.-elect Christine Gregoire's victory speech, as delivered Thursday in the state Reception Room of the Capitol:

Well, an election night without end has concluded. The votes have been counted, the count has been certified and I am honored to stand before you as governor-elect of the great state of Washington.

Today could not have happened without the wonderful people who are with me today - the "First Mike" of the state of Washington, my husband Mike, and our two wonderful daughters, Courtney and Michelle, and we're joined by Speaker Frank Chopp today as well.

I want to start by congratulating Dino Rossi for running a strong campaign that helped sharpen the focus on the challenges our state faces in the years ahead. In the beginning, this was an election about many issues. But by the end, the election itself became the biggest issue. There were some unreasonable attacks during the recount. Fortunately, unfounded accusations were not enough to obscure the importance of what was happening.

Across the state, Republicans and Democrats dedicated themselves to protecting the integrity of our election system. They sat at the same table for days, counting ballots. And each time a ballot was counted, Democrat and Republican observers reached an agreement. That single gesture of bipartisan cooperation, repeated millions of times across the state, is a small symbol of our state's larger desire to be united. We showed that fundamentally, Washington will not allow itself to be divided by region or party or politics.

We worked together to ensure that votes were counted, problems revealed, mistakes fixed.

We proved that Washington is not Florida. And now, we will move forward.

Less than two weeks from today, I WILL take the oath of office as your governor of the great state of Washington. We may start with a narrow margin, the narrowest in the state's history, but we will not limit our goals. Whatever the issue and whatever the challenge, I will listen and I will lead.

The election is behind us, but not forgotten. We will review what worked, and fix what didn't. And let me be clear - change will not stop with our election system. We're going to tackle the tough issues that matter to all of us. We will give our kids a better education, we will insure health care for Washingtonians, and we will make Washington state a place where we are proud to live and proud to do business.

Ladies and gentlemen, there's much work to be done. And I have to say to you, I can't wait to begin.

So my fellow Washingtonians, Happy New Year. God bless each and every one of you, and God bless the great state of Washington.

Can anyone explain how this works. So Rossi won. He won the first 2 recounts and then the Demothieves demanded a hand count and got the result they wanted (the strategy that was attempted to steal the 2000 election). Does Rossi not have the right to demand a second hand count? Sad that the granola states (WA and OR) once again fall to the Evil Leftist Empire.

Gregoire won because a "missing" precinct with over 700 votes was not counted. Out of the 700 "voters", some 567 had the same "residence" address. The residence? It was the county building housing the registrar of voters. The balance claimed a "residence" address that is actually a set of post office boxes in the building adjacent to the registrars office. The judge that permitted the inclusion of these "votes" was perfectly aware of the facts. Crooked judiciary, stolen election.

Oooh, you want to bash a centrist senator who could become an ally in the War on Gregoism...

How daring...

If I were a Floridian I would be pissed by that one. She should have said "Washington was not South Florida, where thousands were too stupid to vote for Algor. As a whole Florida is a very good state.

That is a terrible photo of her . . . Is that how she really looks?--narrow, rather demonic-looking eyes, jagged teeth, pronounced hook nose.

I think Rossi should pull a Thune. "For the good of the state.. and in order to move forward..."

IOW, bend over, spread your cornhole, and take it like a man? Conceding and thereby legitimizing an outright theft is not for the good of the state, or anyone else. That will move the state backward into more chaos, not forward. Giving in to evil only encourages it.

Then run against that carpetbagging b*tch Cantwell in '06.

Go for the consolation prize, eh? Rossi has said he isn't interested in a political career. Even if he won against Cantdowell (something that would have to be considered a long shot at best), he'd be a junior Senator, buried in Washington for the next six years. Rossi ran for governor to help turn his state around from 20 years of 'Rat ruination. I doubt if he'd be interested in going for a consolation prize. Playing for second place is for losers.

From a new subscriber in MN... Don't give up... Fight on... Revote... Contest... Whatever it takes! Any concession only lends an aura of legitimacy to the RATs attempt to steal the election in Washington State and then hypocritically claim it's over after the final fraudulent manual recount and self-righteously urge all parties to now join together! What a bunch of creeps and despicable RATS. The RATS never urged concession on anything when they were behind! Instead they were merely "tied" after the first two counts! I wish I knew why some wussy RINOs always seem to think that things will be different in the next election 2-4 years from now, if we only concede and cave into a stolen fraudulent election. Don't Concede! If the RATS don't agree to a revote, then contest and tie this up in the courts for months. That's what the RATS would do!

In the words of Winston Churchhill... Never, Never, Never, Never give up!

PS. Sam Reed is a RINO-RAT who betrayed his oath of office by certifying this fraudulent manual recount. I sent him two blistering emails on it.

There is no filibuster in the state senate.

Then your choice is clear - - grab your suitcases or grab your ankles.

I concede. Forget honor and politeness. Churchill would have said to hell with politeness. He called the enemy Huns I don't know how many times. He probably offended millions of German Americans. Did he care? No damn way. Screw them. Roosevelt was the ear he needed. He did what it took. I hope Rossi does what it takes. Step on the bugs. Watching Scarborough tonight - Joe is far too gracious. I would never thank that Heinz loving dickhead for his "service" in government. If I were Bush I would sick the dogs on him. Use my power to bury him for good and bring justice upon his head for giving comfort to the enemy.

If this is true, and the people let this stand, this country is doomed.

These same Democrats who demanded that all votes be counted were not allowing military ballots to be counted if they came in late.

It was worse than that. Was it demonrats that deliberately sent out the military ballots late so they wouldn't be received back in time?

If the rats run the whole state, weren't they the ones in charge of sending out the absentee ballots?

I'm not screwing with you. The shenanigans were discussed on the "Trish and Halli" show this afternoon. They had a guest on for about 30 minutes with the details. You can e-mail Halli at halli@oakstone1.com to get the name of the guest if you want to follow up. The show runs M-F on KID 590 in Idaho Falls and KWIK 1240 in Pocatello.
