I gave. I wish I could give to a charity and know that the money would be put to good use though. Since 9/11, I just don't trust them, but those people affected by the tsunami NEED help, so...
Don't give to RED CROSS. 80% of the money goes to administration. Less than 20% goes to relief. Give to Salvation Army or World Vision.
The Salvation Army can honestly be trusted.

The United States of America has nothing to be defensive about. Not one thing.
George Bush is the honorary chairman of the American Red Cross.
He has been behind Red Cross initiatives to have each child give a dollar for the children in Afghanistan.
If it's good enough for George Bush, it's good enough for me. They really need the Red Cross there because of the need for blood. In America, the Red Cross meets half our need for blood.

Yep, I checked...nothing on this story by the AP.
You assuming is not a good thing. You should really do some research regarding what you believe in. If you really want your money to go somewhere, give to World Vision or Salvation Army. If you give to Red Cross, you are really paying for the salary of some corporate guy in a plush office.
