The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Bumping for Terri.
Terri we love you.
Be advised that the content of the miami edu link, etc. is by Ken Goodman.
Terri bump and a prayer!
Do you know whether anyone posted this on it's own thread?
Republic, I was able to hear Bobby on Barbara Simpson's show. Sorry you couldn't. Did you click on one of the links that choose which software to use that is compatible with your system? I saw the Hannity disclaimer, too, but as it turned out, it had nothing to do with getting Barbara's program or not. You must click on of the links - in my case windows media player - to get the connection that works for you. If you like, I'll find you my link to that very page. Of course, the program you were wanting is over, so it may be moot to you.
Oh, and then there was this...even after you link up with the broadcast, there is dead air time during commercial breaks. Apparently over the net you do not hear what radio listeners hear re: commercial spots. So if you get linked up during a commercial, you might think there was nothing there and stop trying. Luckily, I got linked as Bobby and Barbara were doing their opening, although I did miss the first few sentences of what was said.
I heard Bobby, he was very good and so was Barbara. I was interested when she asked him about Gov. Bush and his role at this point. Bobby said he had spoken with somebody(?) working for the Gov. and that his impression is they(Jeb and staff) are quite upset at how the legal case turned out, as this was their determined way to help Terri, and now they don't know what they are going to do. But he felt like they would try to do something, once they figured out what.
FYI: link to Miami U above re: court docs.
Does Ken Goodman work for the State? I can't recall his relation to Terri's case.
I understand you have specific courses of action in mind for the Gov. to do...all I did was quote what Bobby said about the Gov's role. He said only what I reported, and did not get into anything specific that the Schindlers might ask the Gov. to do.
That part was of interest to me because when asked, he did not say anything critical of the Gov., nor did he mention anything specific he thought the Gov. should be doing. Just that he had spoken with a staff member and believed the Gov. and staff were upset with the legal case outcome and do want to do something if they can find a way. That's it.
I was interested in how he would treat the subject of what the Gov's role is now. He could have gone any direction he chose to address it, but this is all he would say.
I was thinking about the quote above. I would like to see the law that allows people to be put to death by starvation removed altogether. That's what I'm going to request when I call the Florida legislatures.
I doubt that when they passed the law in 1999, they realized that feeding tubes would be inserted in patients for the "convenience of the nursing staff" and could then be used to murder these same patients.
For your appearance on Rollye's show, do you mean 10 eastern time? And I am acquainted with her as she has had shows on Texas stations that were local, not national, and I could pick them up on my car radio when travelling in my state.
Not that I am aware of.
So, you see, if Terri is worthy enough to have her own Symposium, various groups are looking into what they can ASK THE LEGISLATURE to do.
However, the idea is for the legislature to act WHILE TERRI'S STILL WITH US.
The Terri February Daily Thread will be up in a day or so. Stay tuned...
