The contingent is about as patriotic as the John Kerry troll contingent.

Firstly, I want to say I hope and pray the people of Ukraine success in this victory. Secondly, I resent your insult. I served six years on a Special Forces A-Team during Nam, am a conservative Republican office holder, and I suspect I know more about patriotism and fighting for freedom than any of you. Likewise, I happen to know JB6's credentials and I doubt one of you can compare.
Oh, I forgot, you have grown to trust members of the John Birch Society. I have been asked to join the group a couple of times in the past, but rejected their paranoid view of the world. These individuals are the ultimate in negativity.

It's a solemn reminder: think for yourself and always mistrust anyone who criticizes America for everything we've done in the name of peace and freedom. You always have to ask if there's some sinister motivation. Usually there is.

And sometimes there is stupid ignorance operating on one side. Consider those who demanded we leave Nam in defeat, when unknown to them the NVA was ready to admit defeat, and the millions who died as a result of their stupidity in the killing fields of Cambodia.
There clearly were sinister motivations by WJC when he came to office and they bore fruit later. That said, the point we have been making is that Yushchenko is going to have a major problem ruling the Ukraine, and he has been a total failure in the past. There are two sides in the Ukraine, and Yushchenko's penchant for ruling at the expense of one over the other is going to create major problems. I pray for the people of the Ukraine, and hope these difficulties are overcome, but I see little hope. I wonder how many of you are going to rejoice when and if civil war breaks out in the region?

I have followed the Ukraine elections closely and I was worried that deep down Yuschenko was really corrupt. Those allegations have been made with pretty good backup. With a John Fund endorsement It looks much better to me. I really respect Fund.

Here, here. I love these guys who are the first to accuse others of treason and such but have never served themselves. I spent my entire adult life enlisted and commissioned. I got to patrol all those nice spots in the Balkans that wre the results of the EU/progressive revolutions: blood, destruction and dispair. But the progressives got to expend their rule, got more money and in the case of the Balkins, helped their Islamic friends a lot.

Yes people like you were saying the same thing when others said supporting Islam in anything would back fire and bombing the serbs would back fire and the first thing that scoundrels do is cloak themselves in "patriotism" and accuse their detractors of not having any. Considering Yushchenko's main backers were the EU, the Socialists, the UNA-UNSO (Ukrainian National Socialists), the Greens and on occassion the communists, I highly doubt that.

The U.S. should work to get both Russia AND Ukraine as well as many eastern European States into NATO, freeze out the French, Germans and other Euroweenies (even the average Brit supports Blair's foreign policy and the average Italian supports Berlesconi's foreign policy as much as the average Spaniard supported the former pro-western Spanish government.)

Then the U.S. should engineer a massive new Marshall style program to provide American economic support and expertise and investment in these countries. With their cooperation and support, we will be able to deal effectively with the western Europeans and the Islamofascists.
