I agree that there are basic values we all agree on. The issue is that you must agree with ALL the moral assumptions in order for the study to be valid. Once we get past the 10 commandments, we can find many places where Christians disagree on issues they would call moral issues. And some Christians won't even recognize all the commandments as valid.

As I recall, the moral issues were the very basic sorts that 99% of all cultures agree on.
