Vertically, or which-direction? I wonder about that one - just because sources were saying that a 30-foot wave hit the beaches doesn't mean there was a 10-meter (approx 30ft) displacement underwater. The displaced volume of water piles-up higher when it enters shallower water and it was pretty deep at the epicenter...
