It is NOT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY...it is the DEMOCRAT PARTY.....the party is made up of DEMOCRATS and is thus the DEMOCRAT PARTY..it is not made up democratics...nor is it an espousal of any kind of democracy...but DEMOCRATS make up the DEMOCRAT PARTY...
the Republican Party is a party made up of Republicans therefore it is the Republican Party...It is NOT the REPUBLICANISTIC PARTY just as the DEMOCRAT PARTY is NOT the Democratic Party

I prefer to call them the DemonRats.
Sorry to spoil your rant, but the official name of the political party in question is "Democratic." Wishing just don't make it so.
