No amount of outside criticism could damage Maureen Dowd like this childish piece of profound embarrassment.
There is just nothing I can add to this, other than my expression of amazement. No matter the level of puerile trash I've seen from her before, this one descends to new depths. Has she no friends at the Times who could have charitably rejected this piece?
I dare her to read this in front of a crowd.
Maureen Dowd is a bitter old spinster.
Only the ones gullible enough to buy into that crap. I didn't Married and happy with a family to boot.
I didn't understand Frank Zappa until I did drugs.
I've been drinking for years, and still don't understand Maureen Dowd.
Gort

I prefer Jaclyn Smith
Hell... I dare her to read this without slurring her words... :)
Since she has no true love to give to her, maybe family can help her.
Pathetic column
Unfortunately, I have a girl friend who's exactly like her. She kept fantasizing that her ex-boyfriend would come around and marry her despite the fact that he was living with another woman. Pathetic.
this is so bad that it is funny, maybe they can fire her now for incompetence? Not even a gay liberal could like this-- it clashes.
I happen to agree....

Not ever gonna go back to the "kick start" days.
I still need to get my double dislocating shoulders fixed, plus it would be nice get some plastic surgery to make my arm look like it hasn't been run through a sausage grinder (I have the world's largest collection of unworn short-sleeve way-cool T-shirts).
Two wheeled conveyances are a part of the long gone past for me. Admittedly, I used to enjoy testing my limits and grinding my foot pegs to 45 degree angles after a night of drinking in downtown DC.
As soon as I got out of the hospital, I went looking for a four wheeled machine with the maximum amount of steel to surround me.
I lucked into a '78 Chevy Caprice (dealer demo model) with a 400CU engine. For those days, the beast was a friggin' tank! Never looked back (or ever got) on bikes again (or ever drank and drove again).
I don't ever need to spend any more months in the hospital. There are tons of more deserving people in hospitals who landed there through no fault of their own (unlike my undeserving self).
The nurses were the best (they should all get a Saint Hood), but I got a little wiley with all those backrubs and had to get myself back out in the real world before I made them all preggo.
Nurses get drinks on me whenever I run into one. Cute, plain, or otherwise (except for the homo male ones, LOL).
There's nothing like a caring woman taking care of you while you're incapacitated. As far as I'm concerned, they're all Saints.
The "kick start" almost killed me and cost WAAAY too much in money, and in other ways, in the long run.
It occurred to me after perusing a few words of this vile, vitriolic, hateful shrew that her writing style is pretty much like that of a less humorous and less intelligent Molly Ivins. (of course that's sort of like saying a "less attractive Helen Thomas")
