I imagine one reason the school has bent over backwards to accomodate the prayers in the library, is that the school is afraid of them. There is a Mosque in the small S.C. town I live in and the inhabitants are not very friendly.

I can assure you the disapproving glares of townspeople do not help, but they dress like they're in the 7th century. However, the women (and men) drive cars, go figure.
