Mr. Lieberman said he would have voted to confirm Judge Bork to the Supreme Court had he been a member of the Senate during the confirmation hearings, according to written minutes of the meeting with Dr. Jack C. Willke, then the NRLC head, and Regina Smith, Connecticut's representative to the group. The notes quoted Mr. Lieberman as saying: "I'm not going to vote against a judicial nominee just because he's pro-life. I'm not going to apply a litmus test."

Even the Democrats think LIEberman sucks (not that their opinion matters, but my point is that everyone except the man himself hates him).

He actually thought Gore would have made a better president. That in of itself ought to eliminate him.

I won't permit him to walk my dog either.
Lieberman would be an horrid choice.

I like former OK governor Frank Keating for the post.

Asa Wimpy Hutchinson might get the nod.

He has been threatening to resign his Undersecretary position because he got passed over last round. He is sending out trial balloons to see how receptive Arkansans are to his running for governor.

Keating is an interesting suggestion. You might be onto something. I recall that Bush considered him for the VP slot but that there was 'something' (never knew what) in his background that caused the idea to be nixed.

Keating would be good. Thanks for mentioning him.

He was in line for a Bush appt in 200o, but he screwed it up by saying he wanted it......a no-no.

Wimp won't cut it.

That's why Bush wanted a no-wimp type like Kerik.

Yeah, LIEb has even been getting his supporters revved up to manipulate public opinion.

There's been FR posts boosting him, as well............the usual trolls.

Does Zell want the job ? His age might indicate otherwise.

My suggestions:

1. Tommy Franks
2. Joe Albaugh (former FEMA guy)
3. The sheriff out in Arizona who makes the inmates sleep in tents and wear pink underwear.
