I agree. A lot of things should have happened. He should have been arrested for interfering with a federal election. He and CBS should have been sued for slander by the Bush family. FCC should have revoked CBS' broadcast license for their conspiracy to interfere in the election.

Realistically, though, we're not going to see any of this happen, are we?

Several FReepers took out their main mast but now it is time to volley below the waterline.

Five years the Mapeist spent on this garbage and what - Five dinky days Dan Rather and his high-priced staff idiots spent on it before his broadcast?

How many minutes before three FReepers smelled something rotten and the game was afoot?

CBS and the other lib media pimps are trapped on their own battered little sinking ship and the PJ People are out here in the millions on the internet and talk radio and a few print sources about to fire broadsides until they join the hungry fishes.

I do agree however; Rather, Mapes, CBS, NYT, and Boston Globe are guilty of conspiring to "knowingly and wilfully" unlawfully "fix" a Presidential election.

Rather and Mapes will be remembered thru history centuries from now as common scummy felons hiding behind a 1st Ammendment right for the press that actually does not exist in many cases.

Now the media is going bonkers screaming that web "bloggers" (FR is not a blog!) and internet users are actually talking to each other and might say something that the Old MSM jerks have not vetted and that "could do political damage" and so must be censored, licensed, regulated, banned, etc.

Good luck MSM and Congress!

I use an email forwarding service out of Hong Kong and I doubt they can control that or and websites hosted abroad.

Even my liberal NYC sister sees the network and print media attempting to shut down the web as a Hitlerian book-burning Nazi scheme.

Several of my own modest webpages with a bit of Free Republic sprinkled in have changed quite a bit of her old MSN/NYT/NPR attitude.

Compare the average FReeper or LDotter or LGF or other site regual member with the cross section of who watches network news on CBS or watches 60 Minutes.

There is no comparison is there?

On the web anyone is going to get and instant correction or rebuke or addition if there comments are not exactly correct (and often from some no matter how well you researched and posted!) - Interactive editing in mere seconds by the PJ People.

This scare the tar out of the supposedly "expert journalists", many of whom you would be shocked at their crummy education, who know say you dumb citizen just do not have the smarts or credentials to be a progressive press pimp.

Damn the tortillas!

Full Coronas ahead!
