Camel spiders also like to hide in the porta johns just under the rim.

Their bites are not felt due to the anesthesia and then they hide in the person's drawers, sucking the flesh from the oozing wound.

The next day the person is often weak and incapacitated when they awaken and notice the spider waiting for them to open their eyes so that they can then feast on the eyeballs of the incapitated person.

The results are gruesome and startling. And if this story was true I'd be on the next flight back to the States!
