Go a step further. As soon as the parade is about to start, everyone should walk onto the route with their signs, sit down, and then start singing. The specatacle of either a.) the police dragging away people singing Silent Night, or b.) th police refusing to do so would spell the end to this mayor's administration, and likely get the word out to boycott his businesses.
