The National Review say it is from ""Light the Lamp!": The monthly newsletter of the Holy Flame Pentecostal Church of Little Rock, Ark." You can read the start of the NRO article at http://www.nationalreview.com/issue/long200411160825.asp, but to get the whole thing a paid subscription is needed.

Perhaps Nancy and Hillary could team up on the Dem ticket next time? And romp together in the Lincoln bedroom.

She knows her liberal secular base won't abandon with this phony act. This act is meant to fool idiots like me. Where can I contribute?

So the Clintons think America will believe that, this time, they're going to bring God into the Whorehouse?

Nancy and Hillary, the Cagney and Lacey of the Left. Or was it gag-me and mace-me?

Thanks for the source. This quote is spreading over the internet as fact. HillaryWatch, Crosswalk, GOPBloggers/BlogsforBush and more. Somebody throw some water on this fire!
WARNING! Some say this quote is a parody!
To: wizardoz
It's got to be a satire Nope. She done said it!
but I wonder if this isn't a reverse example of the Lord's promise that if we do what we should, study and be faithful, we don't have to worry about what we are to say when faced with, say, having to give a talk or interview or other circumstance. He promised the words will be given as needed.
Now, I wonder, if someone tries to use a false cover of believing - does the tongue get tied up like here in her ridiculous circumlocution? If so, we're in for some real fun these next 4 years from the libs...

Dear Jeff Blogworthy,
As others have pointed out, these quotes are from a satirical column in the current National Review. They are genuine quotes from Rob Long's column, but don't represent real Hillary Clinton quotes.
Admin Moderator, maybe it might help if you added to the thread title something like, "[SATIRE]".

I have another [Hilarious Hillary quote]:
"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." - H. Clinton
I will try to post that quote everyday from now until Hillary is soundly defeated in her bid for the presidency.

She will on November 5, 2008.......... I don't think she'll get that far.
I wonder if her and Billy's time isn't just about past on by.
The dim's are MAD at them, blame them for helping to loose the election - and they're tired of the strangle hold they've had on the party.
I don't think she's going to get that much support from her own base 4 years from now. Too many others in the party don't want to wait out 12 years (the next 4 and 2 terms for her) before they can make their go at it.

This transparent pandering to Christians fits in the same category of Kerry's goose hunting stunt. Does she really think that this sudden conversion to Evangelicalism won't be seen for what it is?
The excuse that she attends church when she has the opportunity is pitiful. What would require her to miss church on a regular basis? It's not as if she works on Sunday.
I'm not an Evangelical Christian, but I know something about what the leaders of the Evangelical movement believe, and I don't know any that would support her liberal social views, such as abortion on demand and same-sex marriage.
