Lackland? Piece of cake; you'll love it. What will be your AFSC and the location of your tech school?

Hoping to do Intel...if there are any openings while I'm there....with the current RIFs it is somewhat slim pickings...but I'm optimistic.

Thanks for your service.
If anybody out here on the FR gives you a hard time for posting this vanity they are in the same boat as Mr. Kerry. Stay safe and we will talk to you when we can and again when you get home.
GOD SPEED, SIR

Scourge,
Thanks for your service and Godspeed.
BTW, it looks like we share a name. My name is the same as yours only spelled a little differently.

God bless you!
My husband looks back on his years in the Army with some fondness (from 30 years' distance - which lends enchantment to the view.) He even speaks positively of Basic Training! ;-)
Seriously, you're about to embark on a taxing, challenging, stimulating, sometimes frightening, and life-changing experience.
Treasure every minute of it. We wish you all the best.

Not much changes. I went through in the late 70s and there wasn't much available. I ended up taking 645X0 (Inventory Mangement). The best thing about it was the tech school was at Lowry in Denver. It was great.
My only advice is to travel all you can. If I had it to do over again, I'd have chosen all overseas assignments.
