A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN

A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN

Current immigration mess is a disaster waiting to happen. Or, to be more precise, a disaster that is in the process of happening. And I don't mean by that another act of terrorism similar to 9-11 attacks, although it certainly is a very real possibility that a terrorist organization may smuggle its operatives and weapons through largely unenforced American-Mexican border, perhaps even with a help of Mexican coyotes.

I am much more concerned with million+ Mexicans that illegally cross the border each year and settle on American shores, and am so not just for economic, cultural, or social reasons. What concerns me most is that this unprecedented mass "migration", a phenomenon sanctioned neither by the U.S. Constitution nor by the American law, slowly but steadily takes away from American nation what this nation needs m ost in order to survive and to prosper: our land. And our federal government, theoretically obliged to duly enforce the American border and the immigration law, does practically nothing to stop that preemption.

In addition to old discredited claims that those who support the mass "migration" from Mexico (and who coach illegal Mexicans and their cheerleaders how to circumvent the law and the opposition from a vast majority of Americans) repeat like a mantra, like that American Southwest used to be Mexican "Historic" land, that entire America belongs to its native populations regardless of where they actually came from, or that welcoming millions of "Hispanics" is necessary in order to prove that America is not racist anymore, a new line of attack seems to emerge recently.

In an L.A. Daily News article "Perhaps It's Time to Leave the Union" [1], a "Hispanic" writer Mariel Garza calls for a breakaway of California from the U.S. She wrote: "It's time to go our own way. With the sixth-largest economy in the world and a population larger than most countries, we have the means to do it. And we should take Oregon and Washington with us. We could call it Caliwashegon." Whoa! Tell me more about "migration" and how it "strengthens" this country (horse's feathers).

It doesn't really matter if Garza's idea is feasible at this very moment, and she herself admits that it may be a long shot, at least now. What does matter here, though, is that in a rare moment of sincerity the Mexican mass "migration" lobby shows its true colors. Mexican settlers are not just after "jobs that Americans won't do". They want, eventually, the ownership of the American land they are settling, and it doesn't seem likely that they will content themselves with anything less than that.

But the real disaster that waits to happen, or, should I say, is in the process of happ ening as we speak, is President George W. Bush. He, apparently, doesn't have a clue that Mexican settlers are after the land and not just after jobs, and is about to facilitate Mexican invasion with his half-baked plans of the so-called "guest-worker program", often referred to as "don't-call-it-amnesty amnesty" for Mexican illegal aliens. Not being a volcano of intellect, he made out of himself an easy subject of manipulation by his political advisers, many of whom seem to believe that any meaningful enforcement of the border and the immigration law would constitute an insult to the (memory of) victims of the Holocaust. I, certainly, don't know the details of his dealing with Mexican authorities, but if he conspired with Vicente Fox to legalize Mexican illegals in exchange for "Hispanic" votes then he may deserve an impeachment as well.

Unfortunately for all those who believe that America was built for Americans, and I mean h ere both native and foreign-born Americans, talking Bush out of his plans to give away what's not his (America, that is) to Mexican settlers and their compatriots looks like an up the hill battle. It would have been much easier if all those who voted for Bush despite his failure to defend this nation against the invasion saved their votes for someone else, but apparently they thought that gay marriages, abortion issues, and mention of God in pledge of allegiance, were more important than possible preemption of our country by millions of Mexican "migrants". Now, those Bush voters may feel goofy (or betrayed), and those who let him graduate should feel guilty, as well. They are the ones who deserve the credit for the disaster when it happens.

It already is a disaster of profound magnitude. And the collective wisdom of our great politicians in Washington have chosen to ignore it for decades. IMHO, the TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY for the destruction of our soverignty and our borders, the shredding of the significance of citizenship, etc. IS THEIR TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY.

When will the people demand ACTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY???

I thought the people had spoken in 2000,but boy,was I wrong.Bush disappointed me as far as immigration goes.

I just don't get it and I never will.

I always think of the poor slobs all over the world who are waiting patiently to get in here legally. The politicians don't seem to give a damn about them.

If you think he disappointed you in 2000, 2004 will be a greater disappointment.

I've heard that it takes $10 in revenue to recover $1 in theft.

Do the math.

There are already many city and county districts where a non-Latino could not get elected dogcatcher.

To anyone who doesn't believe this article, and wants proof, I suggest a visit to southern California's many illegal alien Mexican colonias.

Lifelong Californians are moving to other states because of it. Our elected representatives (most of them who shouldn't have been re-elected) won't listen, and don't seem to care. Why should they? They're not the ones putting up with the mess, we are.

I'm sorry, but President Bush signalled his intentions very clearly, long before the election, and those intentions have not changed.

For reasons I fail to understand, the Bush administration is actively seeking to allow immigration, legal or illegal, to continue from south of the border.

Those who did not see that or, worse, did not believe it, cannot now begin to castigate our President for doing exactly what he said he would do.

This disaster has been ongoing for years, and what's coming as a result, will be a holocaust for America.

But the real, shocker is, the illegal aliens are waiting for them when they get there. We have friends in Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennesse, and they are saying the same exact thing. There was a time, maybe 15 or 20 years ago, where you could out run this epic coast to coast invasion. That no longer is possible.

I strongly advise against any such action. The only result will be long prison sentences for the perpetrators.

"The question is, what is the "triggering event" that will lead to Americans taking the law into their own hands because of federal inaction."

There is no such event. A few iconoclasts might take things into their own hands, but they'll soon find themselves in prison.

If you think people are going to rise up en masse, think again. Just look at the recent election, followed by the GOP congress' vote to raise the debt ceiling.

What you suggest is simply not going to happen, and those few who take it upon themselves will end up as prisoners or worse.

The enforcement of our Immigration Laws are the responsibility of the interior department I believe. In reference to providing a coherent policy that is applied across the board coast to coast and border to border we have got to decide once and for all because it has gone on for decades without not so much as a flicker of interest by those charged and paid by the taxpayers to administrate the control of our Immigration System.

The stumble bum mentality being applied here assures us of one thing, a highly organized and well entrenched enemy that lives in and among us literally draining our resources and dividing our sovereign territory that is yours and mine as /our Birthright. If you are not willing to fight for what is yours by birth then how can you expect a pack of lying cheating, stealing, politicians to be forthright in protecting your God given territory. This country is a Representative Republic not a Mob Ruled demoncracy.

The unfortunate consequences of living free in America is the complacency that comes with it. Nothing moves us anymore; even the horrifying deaths of over 3000 + people on 9/11 has worn off and in short order some will start denying it ever happened saying it was all a contrived lie. We are watching our country sold to the highest bidder and our highest elected officials refuse to pass legislation to secure our nation from terrorists. Are we going to allow them the opportunity once again to attack us in even more deadly ways?
