Military Believes Zarqawi Headquarters Found

NEAR FALLUJAH, Nov. 18 -- U.S. soldiers discovered a house in southern Fallujah on Thursday believed to be a main headquarters for Jordanian-born militant Abu Musab Zarqawi, the leader of an insurgent network responsible for bombings, kidnappings and beheadings across Iraq.

The soldiers found letters reportedly written by Zarqawi to his lieutenants, medical supplies from the U.S. Agency for International Development and the International Red Cross and boxes of ammunition from the Chinese and Jordanian armies.

The house, a simple cement structure, was on a block that Army Maj. David Johnson described as a "one-stop-shop for terrorists."

"That part of town is the most dangerous place on earth," said Johnson, a historian attached to 1st Infantry Divison's Task Force 2-2, which conducted the raid.

U.S. military officials have said they do not know where Zarqawi is or whether he remained in the city when American and Iraqi ground forces swept in the night of Nov. 8.

Praying for the capture of Zarqawi.

Pray for the death of Zarqawi... I'd rather not see him drag out a show trial like Slobo. The next thing you know, kids on campuses will be wearing Zarqawi T-shirts.

Well, isn't that fascinating.

I hope the marine who captures this pos has a big ol rambo knife on him. If he's quick enough it would be all over before anyone could react. I would be proud to stand guilty before a war crime tribunal.

Just make sure there are no NBC reporters around. Kevin Sites may attempt to "take the bullet" for his boss

And in true Loony Tunes fashion, back up and run over him again.

Level it. Salt the ground.

Along with your "wish", might I add mine, that in the "aftermath" of the marine's deed, that the headless bodies of a "certain" free-lance reporter and his cameraman, would also be found, who had perrished minutes before the marine did his job.

Wow, isn't this strange:

In warehouse buildings not far from the house, soldiers found a classroom with drawings of U.S. F-16 and F-18 fighter planes, a repair shop for anti-tank rounds and a factory for making car bombs that had a Ford Explorer inside with Texas license plates. A garage with a roll-up door had been turned into a make-shift mosque.

What in the world would explain that???

Pray for the death of Zarqawi...

Isn't there a $25 million bounty on his head, dead or alive?

They should change that to $25 million, but only if he's dead and there is enough left of him to positively identify him and bury him with a couple of hogs.......publically.

With luck, they will also find his head in his quarters.

Reminds me of the cell that was working at a DMV...was it Georgia? Could be they had someone working in Texas who stole plates and stickers. Anything is possible, which is why WE are the best defense. Keep eyes and ears open.

I hope that he is found and publicly beheaded and the tapes sent not only to Al-Jazeera but to every network around the world with a little flashing message that says "Osama, we're coming after you too!!"

What in the world would explain that???

Stolen in TX, then driven across the border into Mexico, then shipped to the middle east. I would bet there are cells operating in Mexico with just this purpose. I would also not at all be surpised if AQ hasn't stolen a few cargo ships for the purpose of moving things like this stolen SUV around.

I remember seeing a video several years ago where an 18 wheeler was stolen from a trucking company in Florida, driven through the chain link fence and right to the port facility and onto a ship bound for South America.
