But golly, doesn't he owe money on a second mortgage for one of the houses his wife inherited? I think he paid that loan off in July

From
a great DU thread:
When you look at the facts long enough there's only one conclusion:
Kerry is a crook who cheated and deceived and defrauded his constituency. And he wants to hang onto our money that he didn't spend as promised?
F*** him.

This story has legs in the D world.
They're *steaming*.
Several people I work with are just fuming. Two gave money to the Kerry campaign in the last few weeks. Now they say they feel 'fleeced'!
This is hugh. Series-ly.

You missed the really funny part, a couple of them are blaming Karl Rove. One even suggested that Donna Brazile was taking orders from him. These people aren't even in the same galaxy as the rest of us.

Hey, he still has to pay back his wife for the loan on the townhouse.

I think you've hit on it: this nestegg was his legal defense fund. He thought if he did lose, it would be a squeaker and he would need big bucks to launch court challenges all across the fruited plain.

Hey, he still has to pay back his wife for the loan on the townhouse. No problem. Kerry's gonna make TV ads to encourage liberals' gun ownership.

Oh please, John, please do run again! It gave me and my family so much to laugh about this last time. One more try and the Dems might finally have to wake up and smell the brimstone.

Donna Brazile: "Democrats are questioning why he [John Kerry] sat on so much money that could have helped him defeat George Bush or helped down-ballot races, many of which could have gone our way with a few more million dollars." Translated:

I was listening to Hannity's radio show yesterday. He had a caller that was protesting his use of the word "loser" in describing Kerry.
Hannity was actually apologizing for offending the woman but then Levin called in and said "The guy lost the election, HE IS A LOSER" lol

Hannity was actually apologizing for offending the woman but then Levin called in and said "The guy lost the election, HE IS A LOSER" lol Words mean stuff. If we start back down the road of "what the meaning of is 'is'" again, there is no possibility of rational debate in the future. It's one thing to debate political policy and theory. It's a completely different thing having debate basic English terms and definitions.
