I got a nice letter from our local State Representative Terry R. Parke (R, 44th District)the other day. Seems somehow my picture appeared on the front page of one of the surban newspapers, taken last Veteran's Day in Streamwood, & he send me an extra copy.

As it turns out, he, too, is an Army Vet.

I sent him an email back, thanking him for HIS service to out country, & inviting him to come visit us here.

I must say that picture looks better than the one of me in the Post Office!...but now I'm worried....
