WHY THE DEMOCRATS LOST

The Democratic Party lost big in this election. The trend that began with the Republican Revolution continued, ensuring that Democrats will remain out of power for at least a generation. Should Democrats continue to follow the strategies and philosophies that have reduced their numbers, their party will soon be irrelevant.

Should the Democratic Party continue to degrade, it will soon cease to be a force in our political system. Defecting Democrats will likely join other parties more in line with their beliefs. This could result in the Democratic Party, Green Party, Communist Party, Nazi Party and various other parties based on racial identity, protectionism, isolationism and populism becoming equal in influence and credibility.

Democracy would thrive with such a diversity of parties. However, with the left so splintered, the Republican Party would achieve such dominance that America would essentially become a one party nation. Were this to happen, the accountability that our Founders built into our system would be lost. The potential for abuse under single party rule is simply too great. For that reason, I am going to offer Democrats some advice.

Democrats keep losing elections because they side against America. On every issue, they oppose our nation, what is best for our nation and the philosophies of our nation. Consider the following issues that shaped the outcome of the last election:

The War on Terror: The vast majority of Americans (hereafter referred to simply as Americans) decided on 9/11 that we must kill terrorists before they kill us. Democrats sided with the likes of Michael Moore, who claimed that “There is no terrorist threat,” but even if there is, it is our fault.

Iraq (part of the War on Terror): Americans knew Saddam was a brutal dictator and a madman who hated America and would strike us in any way he could, as soon as he had the chance. Americans wanted him dead. Democrats had neither the will, nor the desire to remove Saddam from power.

Homeland defense, including the Patriot Act: Americans want our government to make every reasonable effort to find and arrest terrorists. Democrats care more about the civil rights of terrorists than the lives of our citizens.

Religion: 84% of the population of the United States is self-identified as Christian (CNN/Gallup 2002). Democrats think Christians are a greater threat to our nation than Islamic terrorists. They want all Christianity banned from public life, including all displays of the 10 Commandments, crosses and Bibles. They want “under God” stripped from the Pledge of Allegiance, and “In God We Trust” erased from our currency. Deeply held Christian beliefs are to Democrats what water was to the witch in “The Wizard of Oz.”

Gay Marriage and Abortion: Approximately 75% of Americans oppose gay marriage and partial birth abortion. For Democrats, gay marriage and abortion are the sacraments of their Godless religion.

Taxes: Americans don’t like paying taxes. We recognize that when Presidents Kennedy, Reagan and George W. Bush cut taxes, our economy boomed. Democrats embrace the failed economic policies of socialism and the class warfare of communism. Their entire reason for being in office is to take money from the productive, fill their pockets, fill the pockets of their supporters and make empty promises to the poor – Democrats get richer, the poor get poorer and bureaucracy grows ever larger.

Foreign Policy: Americans believe in foreign policies that benefits America. Democrats would cede our sovereignty to the United Nations and allow France to dictate our defense.

Energy: Americans want plentiful and cheap energy, and do not want our economic health dependent on the oil wells of our enemies. Democrats would sooner return to the shortages of the Carter years than disturb a single caribou.

Education: Americans want our kids to be able to read. Democrats don’t care “if Johnny can read,” so long as the teacher’s unions that fund their campaigns are happy.

Israel: Americans recognize Israel as our greatest ally in the Middle East. Democrats call Yasser Arafat a statesman.

After rejecting the advice of Democratic leaders such as Zell Miller and Ed Koch, and rejecting the candidacy of Joseph Lieberman, it appears the Democratic Party will continue to degenerate into lunacy and impotent rage. If Democrats wish to win elections, they do not need to talk “the language of faith and values,” or “get their message out better.” Americans have already rejected the false piety of John Kerry and firmly rejected their message. Democrats need only become the loyal opposition, but I doubt they have the will.

Right. But you understand, I am not talking about the effect of the "issue of abortion" on the election. I am talking about the effect of aborted babies not growing up to become voters and that effect on the elections' outcomes.

I sometimes wonder if it might be a tad more sinister than they don't care. If people can't read well, they are more dependent upon government; and, are more easily led/controlled.

There is absolutely no mention about gun control. That issue alone will prevent me from ever voting for a Democrat. They want my gun and all the lies they spout off will not change that. I suspect many others are of the same opinion.

That actually works to our advantage. For the most part, it the Rats who are killing off their young, thereby depriving themselves of future voters.
