We bought a condo in Bonita Bay which is a lovely area north of Naples. We settled on it 2 weeks before the first hurricane came this summer. However, it faired fine. I have not been there very much, still working in the Wash. D.C. area. But I was pleasantly pleased with this western side of Florida. It is about 25 minutes from the Ft. Meyers airport and the ride down is easy from this area. Go to bonitabay.com and it will tell you all about the community.
