Vote for a Centrist, get a Centrist. He was clearly the better choice, but now that he has had our votes, it's up to us to PRESSURE him to do the right thing. I'm glad that the lesser of evils has won office, but now, all bets are off.
Since the Dems will surely regroup and present a better than Kerry candidate in 2008, and win, perhaps, now is the time to open the floodgates and criticize the President into submission. If that's possible.
Don't get me wrong, I love the President, but there are a lot of voices out there and he is no more exempt from listening to them than anyone else.

So tell me why an individual such as Alberto Gonzales, who renders Judgment from the bench solely based on the letter of the law as it is written is a bad choice for AG.

Now that the election is over, I feel sure that the President and the Republican party is going to give us pro-lifers the screwing of our lives. Just as they have done in the past with CFR, Monicagate, and immigration.
Sorry to be so blunt, but just watch what they do, no what they say.

Gonzales got the AG job while Priscella Owen will probably get the appointment to SCOUTS. I can deal with that. If it were the other way around then I would complain more.
Let's face it Roe v. Wade should be overturned, the has been a provision for the Human life amendment in the RNC platform for over 4 years, it's about time we act on it.
