Pataki's henchmen say that he needs to run and win in the Senate race to have a chance at the Presidential nod in '08.
Look, Geo. E. Pataki has been, for the last two terms, a horrible Governor. He is a worse Republican. He IS NO Republican. There isn't a Republican in this godforsaken heck hole of a State!!! When Michael Bloomberg and Joe Bruno can call themselves "Republicans" after the fiasco of 20 late budgets and grossly inflated State budgets along with Geo. E. Pataki is beyond comparison. Hillary will be reelected by 70-75 percent of the vote and will be nominated for President in '08 by the Demoncrats. I just pray that a great Republican from SOMEWHERE ELSE gets the nod so she will lose!

Pataki is a Rockefeller Republican. He, along with Sheldon Silver and Joe Bruno have caused incredible damage to this state. New York's Medicaid benefits and their costs to counties may eventually force counties to just close down all services, including substantial portions of police and fire services.

In Erie County, ALL of the property tax for the county needs to be used to pay for the county's portion of their Medicaid costs. Pataki allowed the generous New York program to be implemented. His late attempt in 2003 to veto parts of the approved NYS budget was like putting one's finger in a dike about to burst.

He's also pro-choice, and can't give a straight answer in regards to gay marriage. I'll not vote for him for Senator, or President.
