"People suffered for this holiday..."

Yep, about 100 million suffered for it.

Stop worrying. We will keep the spirit alive here in Seattle.

Not only in Seattle, but in Chapel Hill, NC, Duke University, and other locales throughout the Nation. Perhaps the anarchists here in Raleigh were just getting revved up for their holiday observances when they tried to burn down our GOP headquarters over the past weekend. Welsh in Raleigh.

I think you shouldn't go around changing history just to change history or to cover up a dark spot -

People need to "learn" from history - not hide it - not go on wanting it or want some payment because of it -

They should simply want to learn and grow as a nation from having learned their history -

A well educated public will see the lessons learned or the harm done by actions of the past - Russia and the U.S. need to keep this in mind - in my opinion -

They really should celebrate something a little more worthwhile, like November 10th. ...

... Birthday of the U.S.M.C.

If they'd just moved to make it the first Monday in November instead of November 4, people would have been all over that for a 3-day-weekend. Dummies.
