FYI
these are the adults and leaders of the future, God help us.
This is an "emotional outburst"?
Good grief.
Someone needs to put forth a program that gets to the root of how so many people in America have become so "active" in a damaging way. We were a society that discussed, with a few acting out - now it seems one side wants to act out all the time -
Who is teaching them this is the way to go?
Too many seem to think this way is normal and answering in a court for their actions is an insult - We need to find out where this attitude is coming from - as the numbers in that group are growing - and that isn't good for this nation or any other -
just my thoughts - Schools, etc. come to mind - plus the rejects of the 60s acting up through their children -
From the article, it sounds like this group burned effigies of both President Bush and John Kerry. Why didn't they attack dem HQs? Do they hate Republicans more?
Folks, this is really scary. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but knowing there are people like this here in America makes me very nervous.
Good, now their voting rights will be revoked. Hit 'em where it hurts.
To create the irony of ironies, they should be charged with a hate crime.
I think we need to keep track of all the scum who get their name in the news for acts like this. Maybe find out where they are from, where they live, keep a list.....you know for "future reference".
The other three, however, need to not only be charged with all the appropriate criminal charges, THESE CRIMINALS NEED TO BE PAYING FOR THE DAMAGES, PERSONALLY. Find out who they are "members" of, and SUE THEM FOR DAMAGES. But I think suing the three individually for repair costs would be VERY APPROPRIATE. And most certainly, the "deductible" costs.
"We didn't find anything there,'' Lane said.
Should have checked inside. They may have found more criminals.
I'm fairly certain their attacks are going to increase, given the desperation amongst leftist groups like this. If they haven't already done so, it is time that the FBI really take a close look at this organization. They're bad news.
This group and others are into activities called "monkey-wrenching". One of the founders of the Ruckus Society is quoted about monkey-wrenching, saying:
"Monkey-wrenching is more than just sabotage, and youre goddamn right, its revolutionary! This is jihad, pal. Everything, every assumption, every institution needs to be challenged"And, another Ruckus Society "luminary" has an "interesting" take on violence:
I make a distinction between violence and destruction of property. Violence to me is against living things. But inanimate objects? I think you can be destructive, you can use vandalism strategically. It may be violence under the law, but I just dont think its violence. These people make some leftists look reasonable, which is scary.

If these kooks aren't members, they seem to believe this kind of garbage.
From what I remember, this G-8 thing is NOT 'good'.
Curious, because Travis Tritt was on it, in June.
This thread won't be complete without at least one mention, here, of the completely misleading headline.
They COULD have used the less tortuous "Liberal Vandal's friend attacks reporter"
Of course, that wouldn't leave the same ambiguous impression, but it would be ACCURATE.
If the left/right spectrum is based solely on the size of government advocated, aren't anarchists rightwingers? [/sarcasm]
Isn't that still called arson?
Bader-meinhof in development.
"Scott Falmlen, executive director of the North Carolina Democratic Party, issued a statement denouncing the incident."
Excuse me Mr. Falmlen .. but you stinking democrats are just a few days and 26 other incidents late to be denouncing anything.
