You guys might find this website of interest. It details IQ by state in the 2004 election. This is raw IQ data, not how much a state spends on education:

With the blatant exception of DC, which if it were included on this list would be #51.
Looks like ARKANSAS has come up in the world since Clinton and Co. left, for "greener pastures".
class size is such BS. there are endless numbers of kids who came from asian countries...50+ people in class their asian schools...then they end up valedectorian at US schools. Lazy uninterested parents do more harm than big classes.
