Apparently, this fact of 72 houries per resident of the Jannat forced Allah's hand later. It was argued that if the mujahid resident of Jannat has the sexual power to satisfy 100 houries at one go, then what would happen at the end of satiating all 72 houries? The new resident will still have desire left in him for 28 (100 minus 72 = 28) houries but he had been given only 72 of those? It was then that Allah decided to provide 28 (not houries this time, but) 'gilmans' or pretty 'pearl-like' boys for enjoyment by the same mujahid. It must be stated that sodomy or pederasty was (and still is) widely practiced by the camel drivers of Arabia.

BTW, don't you find it odd that HIV is the only 'blood type virus' that the experts say cannot be spread by Mosquitoes? Yellow Fever and Dengue Fever being two examples that most definitely are. Then again, if the 'experts' admitted the fact that HIV was and/or could be spread by mosquitoes the publics reaction wouldn't be to nice would it. Quarantine would be demanded - or worse.
