There's an easier way, as Karl Rove explained on Meet the Press this AM:
Sen. Specter has assured the Whitehouse he will have a hearing on every
one of Pres. Bush's nominees.
He has assured the Whitehose, every nonimee will get a committee vote, and
Every nominee approved by the Committee will go to the Floor.
Can't hope for more than that.
