My first reaction, I must admit, was that I wanted to extend a hand across to Liberals to show a sign of unity. That we are all in this fight together and should move forward for the next four years.
After reflecting for a few days and speaking with friends and family, I now want to kick sand in their faces while they are down. Now I'm thinking of all the lies and efforts, from many Liberal fronts, to unseat President Bush. Forged documents were used. Spiteful books and movies whose authors have now been totally discredited. Using the the 9/11 commission to blame President Bush for the attack. Using the death of our troops for political gain and negative spin against the President. Everything they could think of, real or not. I go on to DU and the vile is spewing. Michael Moore and the Hollywood left are beside themselves. Can't believe it. The "no mandate" and "right wing religious nuts did it" spin from the MSM is insufferable. Liberals are not going to reflect on why they lost this election. And they lost it big. They don't believe they are wrong and will stop at nothing to defeat this conservative movement that delivered an historical win for the President.
Kick sand in their faces. The left are the extremists in this country today and it is about time they realize that.

Yep.

I guess I'm just not as "evolved" as some here.

My mama taught me to treat people the way I would like to be treated. My dad taught me never to take sh!t from anyone. I always thought that it was a nice, complementary way to go.

I was on a jobsite that had employed a lot of Eastern European laborers. One one occasision I offered assistance to a Romanian laborer, who rebuffed me curtly. A little while later this Polish fellow came up to me and said, "You don't understand. To accept assistance from you is to admit inferiority to you. He *knows* that he is your superior (in what bizarro world?!)."

From that point on I didn't treat him like crap, but I didn't treat him with deference either. When everyone else enjoyed my generosity (as a job boss), he would sit and sulk (no doubt basking in his *superiority*).

This is my approach to the 'rats. I am the "offended party" here. They are the ones who pulled all of the crap. But I will hold my opinion as long as they keep their filthy mouths shut. I will not take any crap from any 'rats.

Period.
