Appears to me Bush learned alot from his first 4 years in office. He may comprimise with those on the left, but I think the left will find it frustratingly hard to get what they want, done their way, this time around. Bush may take the left's ideas, and remanufacture them into his own ideas.

From this point on Bush is through campaigning. When Air Force One lifts off it is going somewhere with a purpose, now. (Not that campaigning isn't) Don't you know that it has to really give a Congresscritter the willies to see AF1 landing in his district? How in the world is he going to resist W when W can walk down the ramp, look into the camera of the local TV and suggest that voters in these parts might send him someone more agreeable in 2 years?
I suppose just the implied threat of such a thing will go quite a ways.
