The New York Times just have to bear with the republicans in power for a long time. The Southern states are now all Republicans which used to be dominated by Democrats.

Rumor is the the 2008 Republican presidential nominee will be Rudy Giulliani.

The NYT isn't involved in some imaginary conspiracy, they have an AGENDA to misreport the news to promote their leftist goals.

There is an explantion for what happened at the Times. The so-called reporter who leaked the early exit polls would know that the polls were skewed to Kerry because they were overly heavy in female respondents. I do not believe that the NYT would have had a 'neophyte' as the reporter on the election. So, given that premise this 'reporter' was deliberately trying to surpress Bush voters in states to the west and/or trying to buck up Kerry voters.

Does this mean I think it was a conspiracy? No. I have no evidence that there was some major MSM conspiracy. But, I do this this person should be exposed and fired. There is a REASON why the media outlets have a 'rule/agreement' that none of these exit polls are released early while polls are still open.

Did you sign up just to say that?

There's no way on earth that the exit polls could have been that far off unless it was deliberate.

The techniques of comparing the numbers against prior years in the same precinct so as to make necessary adjustments are well known, and obviously were not followed.

It's funny that they think the "exit polls" should be
taken as legal over the "actual votes".

My philosophy on the whole exit poles/reporting of votes is that it should all be done in private and released to the public the next day. People shouldn't be able to be influenced by the exit poles or the outcomes of the elections in other states...I've spent 4 years with my president, I can wait a day to find out if I'll spend 4 more.

I don't believe there is a conspiracy on the part of the MSM, but there is a consensus. The MSM are animated by their hatred for President Bush and so undertook very similar actions in an attempt to undermine his re-election bid. It looks like a conspiracy, but it's simply the left marching in lockstep.

"These early exit poles allowed many of the red states to be caller earlier in the evening, slidifying Bush'd electoral lead early on."

I'm envisioning people of Polish descent talking on cell phones, taking Exit 1 and skidding on ice.

Exit Poles caller slidifying!

Well, I don't see any reason not to release them that night after all the polls close, The latest would be from Hawaii which is 5 hours later than East Coast. What's time would that be? Midnight? 1AM? Heck, I wouldn't mind staying up 1 night every 4 years for the results of the election for president.

Troll Alert! Anyone that defends the Slimes doesn't deserve a place at the table on FR IMHO!

You wouldn't be the reporter that leaked would you? No one on here defends the Times and now that it is know they are the ones that leaked phoney poll numbers defending them is even dumber.

Anyone who is a loyal NY TIMES reader is a volunteer and not forced to endure anything.

They should change their motto to: Irrelevence is Everything

Why does anybody, esp. pols in D.C. care about what the Times says?

Welcome FR sign-up date of 2004_11_05, but do understand that the exit polls were the last shot of the NYT-MSM atttempts to turn the election. All very purposeful. Very.

If your belief is correct, explain to me the SeeBS fraud with the fake TANG memos and the obvious coordination with the Kerry campaign and the NYT. IMHO, definitely fraudulent activities and prosecutable!
