Match.com political bias (wanna guess how they lean?)

What's left of Left? Answer: Very Liberal.
Okay.
What's right of Right? Answer: ULTRA Conservative.
Yes, if you sign up for online dating and wish to declare yourself "more-than-conservative", you are given the label "Ultra". Yet if you are "more-than-liberal", Match.com allows you to select "Very" as your modifier.
The complete list of options is:
No Answer
Ultra Conservative
Conservative
Middle of the Road
Liberal
Very Liberal
Non-conformist
Some other viewpoint
TOPICS: Business/Economy; Culture/Society; Miscellaneous; Politics/Elections

Don't ask me why "Non-conformist" is an option. Apparently it's meant to imply we are all rotten conformists for having like-opinions. (Actually, it's practically a code-word for "I smoke pot" as far as I've gathered, and also for people who think that piercing your body is something trendy and they're the first in history to rebel and have an attitude problem. For this reason, I'd be happy if they added "Conformist" as an option, but I digress....)
Don't bother writing to them if you're already signed up.... they already have your cash and know you're slightly desperate for love (or else you wouldn't be there). They didn't respond when I wrote to complain anyway, except for a form-email that was never followed up on.

They only go up to "Very Liberal" because they know that rabid Leftists don't understand things like computers, utensils, or soap.

I purposely left out the link so this wouldn't smell like an advertisment.

This is not a real issue. I don't see a problem with "Very Liberal" versus "Ultra-Conservative".

I don't understand the "problem." If they had given "right-wing whackjob" as a category, I would say you had a point.
I think it just shows that the folks behind Match.com don't know many conservatives, much less "ultra conservatives." Anyway, I doubt that many Go-Pat-Go folks are looking to Match.com for their dream man/woman. I would think they would be looking in church.

The real question is, why are you on Match.com? Steve, put the credit card back in your wallet and step away from the computer...go to the supermarket, or your church, or a laundromat...you will find nice 'real' girls there. Talk to your friends, co-workers...they know nice girls too (and they already know you, so they would be good judges of who you would like).
Of course, if you find someone using my excellent maternal advice...feel free to take back out that credit card...I have a PayPal Acct.

You don't think "Ultra liberal" would sound harsher than "very"?

I found my conservative wife on Match.com :)
She is GREAT!

...and George will be your friend.

After I lost my wife in 2001 to breast cancer, I moved to Florda. Someone suggested I go to Match.com to get back in the game. I did. I met a lady who had been widowed about the same time I was. We exchanged a few emails, and made a date to meet at a restaurant in Delray Beach, FL. We met, had a good time, agreed to meet later, and a year later, we were married. I don't remember anything about political dimensions being mentioned.
As it turned out, my new bride was a life-long democrat and watches Katie Couric every morning. I'm trying to wean her from that but with not much success. Her mother, a well-known portrait artist, is a staunch conservative and voted against FDR in 1940, the year she became a citizen; she's from Belgium.

And remember the old computer take on "Prime?":
3 is prime
5 is prime
7 is prime
9 is a feature
11 is prime
13 is prime
(man is it great to be a Conservative tonite or what?)

Would a "non-conformist" conform to using on-line dating?
