He'll be heading to FLA or TX, money in the bank.

To get to FLA he could always go through Cuba. They don't have a track record of arming terrorists there. /sarcasm

"John Gibson"

I really like him too. He is underrated. I would pick him over anyone in a face-off. He is "scrappy".

He certainly is scrappy. I also find him unusually well informed, sometimes more so than Brit Hume.

I agree. Brit tries too hard to say the "right thing", whereas John (Gibson) will just tell it like it is.

Re: Brit. I did have to laugh out loud yesterday when Brit used the term "load of crap".

You know, the really messed up thing is that Bin Ladens attack on 911 was towards all the "blue" states (NJ/NY, DC), PA. You think that alone would have caused them to "turn red"...

Hey, this is serious. OBL is dangerous. He could be planning to send out more VMD's (uh, that's videotapes of mass destruction). Protect your VCR's!

My guess is that Bin Laden is being faced with a threat or two headed his way as well. Now that America has decided to stay the course, establishing a working democracy in the middle east will become the center piece of resolving the War on Terror. When people can actually see a future that works, people start taking care of their own nest instead of using it for an outhouse.

The leaders in Iran have not gotten the message, but it sure looks like the people of Iran have. The world will never run of people who can't see the truth, but when you can't hide the truth, more and more will start seeing if for themselves.

I know everybody knows that killing people is not the way to get your point across but the US has been oppressing and back stabbing these people for so long.

You make fairly broad statements about the US oppressing and backstabbing these people, yet provide no specifics.
These fanatics have done more harm to their people than any nation, especially the USA, could ever be accused of.
Here is one very good example:
In Afghanistan, before the US liberated it, the Taliban was in control. The UN had built a national soccer stadium in the country, which the Taliban turned into a place of public execution. When the UN told whined about the misuse of the stadium and wanted them to cease and use it for its intended purpose, the Taliban said only if the UN would provide an equivalent venue in which to hold the public executions. The UN of course declined, and the Taliban thumbed their noses at them, and continued the practice in the soccer stadium. The vast majority of people executed there were women who had supposedly broken some religious law, like not having their burka (spelling?) correct, or allowing a lock of hair to be seen, or allowing a man to see their face, or not moving fast enough to suit someone. These women could be beaten by any man on the street, and could be accused without defense and sentenced to die.

The Taliban and Al Quaida type of regimes and terrorists are a different and new breed that has crossed over from anywhere near what you could call revolutionaries. They do not just want to inflict terror by homicide bombing a group a civilians, they have stepped up to abducting innocent people and sawing off their heads in the most barbaric manner possible. There is no room in my world for animals like this, and given the chance I would gladly put several bullets into the head of each and every one of them, with no more remorse than putting down a rabid dog. (Actually, I might feel a little bad about the dog).
If you have any doubts about the kind of people these "revolutionaries" are, you obviously haven't seen the video of one of the beheadings. DON'T try to make us see they have a reason, a cause, or a right! You have no ground to stand on with that. And if you believe, which it seems apparent you do, that back off these people and giving them what they want will make the world a happy place, you haven't studied much history. They will just try to take more and more, knowing they have you at their mercy.

Indiana says* bring it on. If nothing else, we will basketball you to death.

*Yes, I am being presumptuous enough to speak for the whole state. Well, not Marion (Indianapolis), Monroe (Bloomington/IU), or Porter (Da Region) counties, according to the county-by-county map.

HOwever, such boasting is virtually never wise, and especially in this context. None of us knows what attacks may come . . . tomorrow or next week or month.

I've heard from the few Federal LEO I know that the consensus is that the next attack will be a soft target, probably a mall. Mall security in most places is not up to the job. The armed Milita (all the citizens) must be prepared to fill the breach, that means those with their CCWs, weapons and a mindset to use them.

If my comments give IslamoLurkers pause and make them reconsider their plans, good! If it inspires other citizens to take up arms, get training, continually practice, even better.

Bin Laden hoped he would wake up to a total blue (read
yellow) map, with just maybe one or two red states to
send his minions to attack. . the rest would be easy. His
"strategy" was to divide and conquer without having to fire
a shot.

What he woke up to was THE WHOLE DAm* COUNTRY (with all the ammo) WAS AT WAR !!
WITH - - - - HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Odd, why threaten the red states, it was the blue he attacked several times (NYC) with more than one attack (the truck bomb under clinton also attacked the trade center basement).

Me thinks OBL is full of turkey dung.

You are sooooo right IN Farm Girl. Indiana sends a "Hoosier Welcome" to all terrorists who come on in for a visit. Advice to terrorists: Our westside has it's own method of justice, well known throughout the area. We'll show you some Real Jihad - westside style. We are much better armed than you are.
