Absolutely.
Whether you are a fiscal conservative, a moderate, an evangelical, a terror warrior, or what have you, wherever you all within the Republican party let's take a moment and say thank you to everyone who has made this victory possible.
And cheers! It's a beautiful day, isn't it? :)
Let's thank Zell too. His speech at the convention electrified the nation. That, and his appearances throughout the campaign were critical.
Yeah, those guys are OK, but the TRUE MVP's are the VOLUNTEERS.
This was the battle of GROUND-GAME.
That's it.
Those who got the vote out, took our voters to the polls, poll watchers, those who put up the signs, made the phone calls, gave money, attended rallies....
They ARE the ONLY and TRUE Heroes of this VICTORY.
Don't forget Zell Miller!!!!
Need to hit Hillary's Marxist training hard, people! The name Hillary needs to be synonymous with ruination. Cute nicnames like "Shrillary" and "Hitlary" just aren't enough for this one. We need to get every shred of factual evidence we can on her apprenticeship with the people who want to destroy this country. It's out there, and I intend to help disseminate it.
Arnold helped him in Ohio.
Ed Koch Cant Be Underestimated
....one thing I have to say about "kooch" (my nickname for him)is he will speak his mind.
I remember years ago when the liberals and ACLU were complaining about the police using police dogs in the subway in New York....kooch's response.."dogs?. we should be using wolves"
Doogle
"Though I dont always agree with Rudy Giuliani and John McCain, I must commend them for their staunch efforts on behalf of President Bush".
I really worry what McPain's price for his support will turn out to be!
He is a RINO who survived a recall effort in his home state with the help of 9/11, yet he is invariably the "conservative" the MSM goes to first whenever they want to play at being balanced.
Zell Rocks!
Okay, having said that I have a question. Hitlery is definitely going to make a run at the WH in 08. And as much as we might despise her, aside from Bill's fiasco and Whitewater, just what exactly has anyone got on her to go after her with?
Kerry was easy. he came with his own disgraces and MamaT as well. The Hildabeast is going to be a horse of another color (although her pantsuit won't). She has been keeping a pretty low profile the last couple years and Bill's heart problems made her look sympathetic, especially to women who naturally would want to see a woman in the WH. I have nothing against that except when it is going to be Hillary.
We can't use the "Anybody but Hillary" tactic. It didn't work for the Dems and it won't work for us either. We better not waste the next four years or she might actually win.
And who do we have that will be strong enough to go up against her?
And Zell.
It didn't hurt to have a very visible and heroic Christian stumping for GWB in the final hours. Curt Schilling put a wrap on his infected ankle and joined the campaign in Ohio and PA. He made some people pay attention and make it right to vote for GWB. Sometimes people need to be told what is in their best interests and what is good for them but that person needs to have credibility beyond politics as usual. Curt had that and I and all of us should recognize his contribution to the cause.
Kerry has done one thing honorable is his career. He conceded the election. For that, I give him his due respect.
I am also relieved that there is not a mass of litigation..
Also to Zell Miller...
