Get Spectre - no, that's Alan Specter - off the Judiciary committee - that would help!

This is where we find out if Bush will be able to control Specter. I hated to see Specter win another term last night.

How about Edwards? He'll be unemployed soon. I think it would be a nice gesture and help with that whole "healing process" thing. Throw them a bone.

Just one of many good things to come from a second term for President Bush.

A good question:

Who are the Dem Senators that will be running scared in 2006?

These are the guys that have to be turned to get the logjam cleared. We need to convince 5 of them that they risk re-election if they join in the filibusters.

We still need 60 votes unless the 'Nuclear Option' is applied!

I think Justice Janet Rogers Brown is the perfect choice. How could anyone challenge a Black single mother jurist whose child attends a public university? There are other good choices, such as Wilkinson. I don't think there is a Hispanic candidate that would pass scrutiny. I think there has to be more seasoning on the CCA before an Hispanic is confirmed to the Court.

That said my prayers are with the Chief.

Chief Justice Thomas sounds about right to me. Thomas is a very very good justice.

Does the Daschle loss break the filibuster?

Is drunk fat ted kennedy still in the Senate?

I guess that answers that question doesn't it?

This is probably one of the most important benefits of winning this election.. I think Bush will appoint at least 3 judges over the next 4 years (replace Rehnquist, O'Connor, and Stevens).

Y'all are gonna think I am nuts, but I would love to see...

John Kerry nominated.

They would drag his sorry butt through the mud and expose him for the traitor that he is.

He would stand NO chance, but payback is a bitch.
IMHO
