Fox 75%, NBC 25%. I caught both Bush calls for Florida. I also spent the evening with my laptop cooking my legs while I followed the Live election thread.

FoxNews. It's coverage was exceptional. Just reported on the election. No political BS. Everything was about the election.

I put on ABC and NBC for just a bit - minutes only. They were trying to tell me why people voted this way and that. I nearly puked and went back to real reporting on FoxNews.

Fox news until it was obvious Bush was going to win and then I had to watch the disappointment creep in to the face of the others

I did not watch TV at all, just surfed at FR and the board of elections website for my county. I could get up to the minute results much faster on-line than by watching TV.

Free Republic, with Hugh Hewitt streaming live on audio. I will never lapse back into dependence on the idiot box.

Me, too.

None. I listened to Hugh Hewitt and watched the results on the internet.

No cable: Mostly watched the local Fox affiliate with Shepard Smith. I think Fox had him for the feed to local affiliates.

I put a movie in the DVD until midnight. Then after checking in with FR, I watched the Banny Dather CBS meltdown for 3 1/2 hours.

Rather was grasping for straws all night and looked like someone shot his dog! :-)

It was Great!!!!

I flipped channels all night. Some thoughts:

Fox News Channel's coverage was awful. They constantly showed state graphics with no data. Thanks a lot. The female democrat talking head that over-enunciates every word was very grating.

Dan Rather (biased as he is) used about a million catch phrases ("the margin is about as thin as turnip soup") as was kinda entertaining.

I thought the best coverage was a combination of MSNBC and NBC. Chris Matthews is biased, but did a pretty fair job last night. Anytime he and Joe Scarborough have a discussion it is entertaining.

Although, I could be completely wrong...

Fox News & Internet--FR 85% of internet time. Otherwise, sifted thru 2000 county returns in FL vs the incoming 2004 county results then shifted to do the same w/ OH.

Listened to Mark Levin on WABC until 8:00 Pm EST, then a little bit of MSNBC, then switched to Fox for good...

I watched HGTV until 11:30 and then turned on Fox until 3:00. By prearrangement with my husband, who was very anxious about this election, I did not check Free Republic until 10:30. By then things were looking hopeful. I had to keep the afternoon scare from him. Fortunately, we had other things keeping us away from the "bad" news during the afternoon.

I stayed on Free Republic only (no TV) until 1:30am when I finally turned on FNC (very reluctantly)

ditto... MSNBC during the commercials on FOX. I liked the Fox panel, I thought Fred Barnes and Mort had good insight and were more knowledgable to make commentary then the other alphabet channels.

FOX NEWS 95% of the time, switched around a little. But stayed on FREEREPUBLIC most of the night (tv, computer in the same room) then when I read the posts about dan blather, blathering I tuned in for a good nights laugh. He was impossible. And Ed Bradley? didn't he retire? who brought him out of the broom closet?

sssshhheeshh a station of has-beens.
