Luntz is good.

As Zogby skulks off into the mist, Luntz's star is rising.

Michael Barone did the heavy lifting last night on FNC.

Brit Hume also smelled a Rat. As a matter of fact, even Chris Matthews thought something was fishy and pointed it out pretty early.

The problem with exit polls is that they are based on assumptions relating to how you weight various precincts against the others. You can be fairly certain that you are getting the straight story on who people voted for, but you've still got to know how many people to sample in each precinct. Another problem is that Democrats and Republicans do not vote at the same time of day in many cases. If you sample when the Dems are voting, then you get the wrong picture.

Fred and Mort and all the FNC guys laid a big egg. They accepted the exit polls with full gullibility. They could have influenced the election talking like W lost before they really knew anything and the polls were still open. They could have simply logged onto the 'net and saw those exit #'s were whack.

Apparantly it didn't take a lot of sniffing. Larry Sabato says the reason VA, SC, and NC were all ruled "too close to call" was because the exit polls had KERRY WINNING THEM!!!

I am not sure who WERE the exit polsters? Were they a national known company or did each state have a different polster? Zogby didn't have anything to do with this did he? His poll numbers were so far off Monday night they sounded like the exit polls.

I was pretty pissed off with Fox last night for not calling Bush states faster.

Looking back, I can see they were slow on the side of caution. It took them a while to accept those exit polls were bogus. They were very anal about it.

But, all in all, looking back at thee totality of their coverage, I can see the caution rather than bias.

"He also blasted the misleading exit polls and their incompetence and gives Fred Barnes and Mort of all the TV commentators as being smart enough and quick enough to tell the right story."

Hmmm If memory serves three elections in a row the exit polls are wrong early!!!!

Makes you wonder if someone is skewing the results early on to change the election dynamics!!!!

"I can see the caution rather than bias"

Which in the long run gives them a great deal more credibility than the MSM.

Those exit polls weren't incompetent. They were cooked. There's a difference.

Michael Barone's expressions were priceless when he was being questioned by a rather sad Shepherd Smith. Barone looked annoyed with Shep.

Lunz was great blasting yesterday't TOTALLY WRONG exit polling.

Ann Coulter later on echoed that sentiment as well (plus she looked GRRRRR-EEEEAAATTTT)

And even waffler-supreme Larry Sabato came on and let loose a barrage against the exit pollsters. I guess he is just happy he wasn't one of those merry band of incompetents himself... though I dont exactly recall him predicting a Bush popular vote victory by 51-48.

FOUR MORE YEARS !!!!!!
YEEEE-HAWWWWW !!!!

I will tell you, I watched Fox most of the night, turned on MSNBC at about 3 a.m. or so, in case Pat B. or Joe were on (they were) and I enjoyed watching it because even Matthews, Ron Reagan and Andrea Mitchell were saying that Bush is the clear winner. EVERYBODY knows it but sKerry/Edwards. They need to concede, this sh$t can't go on beyond today. The president has a mandate from the people. That is the bottom line. Game over!

This also proves that when you lie, cheat and scheme as the dems tried to do, that you get punished in the end. It's called "what goes around, comes around" especially when you have millions of Christians praying for victory!
