They were prop places, very quiet. Smaller than a C-130. Flying east at about 3000-5000 feet. One following the other, not in ay type of formation.
What new tapes?
Do you believe that- now that OBL and Co, are aware that Bush essentially won---they will strike now? (soon)- maybe waiting until the Muslims are in the mosques on Friday?
I don't like the looks of things.
I've been trying to think of lines W could say to Osama in his acceptance speech:
"What part of 'Bring it on' did you not understand?"
"I'd like to remind you that most of those red states are heavily armed."
"Do you feel lucky, punk?"
"America is no Al-Andalus".
I'm sure others could do better. I'm just so happy! I didn't realize just how worried I was last night until Kerry's concession this morning. Whew!
Yes- I often thought we could make him some rather interesting "jakel images" similar to those they have threatened us with for years....

WOW! The 1-Year Anniversary. How time flies. I'd like to personally thank every TMer for their contributions to this important thread. Nowhere else is this type of information available. Nowhere else can I have a serious discussion about terrorism. Being able to discuss these threats not only keeps me aware of them, but also helps to keep me calm and rational for the simple reason that I can talk to intelligent folks about it. For that, I am in you dept to you all.
Well, GWB won and I am so relieved! That sends a clear message to OBL and his ilk that America will not be intimidated – by anyone, ever. We're all safer for it. Our prayers have been answered.
Now, back to the business of fighting terrorism. We know that the states that voted for Bush have been directly threatened by the latest OBL tape. Folks in those states need to stay on a higher alert than the blue states. Would it be worth posting a list of the red states v. the blue?
Since I’m in a red state I’ve been taking extra precautions with my company’s data. Ounce of prevention you know. Personally, I’ll continue to stay at a extra high level of alert until after the inauguration.

I've been thinking alot about that. I'm still not convinced that OBL tape was authentic. Another problem- the areas he wants to "hit" tend NOT to be in the states that went for Bush. I don't know what to think.

We've passed our one year anniversary, but still need to keep going until they are all dead or captured.

U.S. intelligence agencies concluded recently that al Qaeda fearing its credibility is on the line is moving ahead with plans for a major, “spectacular” attack, despite disruptions of some operations by recent arrests in Britain and Pakistan.
Officials said recent intelligence assessments of the group, which is blamed for the September 11 attacks, state that an attack is coming and that the danger will remain high until the Nov. 2 elections and last until Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
