Lol, this is my first post. I am a student at UCLA, the mood is....somber to say the least! You would think USC had come through to pillage and burn down the school. HA!

Welcome to FR. My son and daughter and law just graduated and she's at UCLA Law. You conservatives are fighting a big majority.
Have you had trouble with your professors? My son had one class where the prof wouldn't even read his paper because he didn't agree with the premise. Gave him a C (he graduated in EE with a 3.8). Bummer.

I have already heard the "Fox news is horrible" as if CBS is any better
I'd suggest CBS/Dan Rather for viewing.
If any of your UCLA friends are in the film school, tell them you want to
see if Rather does a "Howard Beale" if Dubya wins.
(that's from the movie "Network", for the younguns in the forum)

Yes I am. I hope that Antonin Scalia will be named as the next S. C. Chief Justice. We MUST unseat Daschle!

There will be a lot of sad [and enraged] students all across the country tomorrow.
Not my boy. A freshman at Temple U in Philadelphia. Cast his first vote EVER for President George W. Bush.
I couldn't have been prouder.

I am a UCSD student and I have to say that its been rather quiet politically. There are some of the slightly flamboyant who gloat about the CA Kerry win but it seems that even those people are quiet when it comes to the rest of the US!
There have been lots of efforts at trying to change voter's minds on campus. Lots of signs that say things like "Stop the lawless cowboy and his greedy party" and "illegal ignorant illegitimate: GW Bush" I have no idea how that would change someones mind but oh well, not my signs.
