Henry Orenstein, creator of "Poker Superstars, spending $150,000 on pro-GWBush advertisements.

Henry Orenstein, author, inventor, and creator of "Poker Superstars," of Verona, NJ, reported "unitemized independent expenditures" of $150,000 but no indication of what kind of expenditure was made, who was paid, or who was supported or opposed.

Poker became television fodder when the toy mogul Henry Orenstein invented a camera technology that allowed viewers to see a poker player's cards through a window in the table. Orenstein is the creator and executive producer of "Poker Superstars." "Before, you never knew who had what cards," he said in a telephone interview. "Now you can actually see the strategy in the middle of the game."

My comment: He has been broadcasting his pro Bush advertisements here in Florida. It's him speaking as a survivor of Hitler's Holocaust and Joseph Stalin. He says John Kerry cannot be trusted with security

His ads have been running on the radio here in Cleveland. I wondered what his story was. Thanks for the info.

Powerful ad.

He's a great guy. Had a chance to meet him this year in connection with a licensing deal.

Did he give you any idea he was Republican enough to lay out $150 thousand of his own money?

His photo is so cute and partly why I posted this.

Now you have the rest of the story! I've heard his advertisement for 4 days and I've been looking on the internet for 4 days for more information on him. Today I found this.

It was at his place on Central Park South. I won a hand of Texas hold 'em. with him at the table. It wasn't the time or place to discuss politics. But, as a Holocaust survivor, I'd have guessed he knows whether terrorism is a "nuicance" or not. I hope he changes some minds among people with enough knowledge of their heritage to pay attention.
