He simply cannot be taking his religion seriously. He is torn. He was brought up Catholic, then made public the fact that he was Jewish. His whole life is schitzophrenic.

Christ would then say to sKerry: "Depart from me into the lake of fire. I never knew you, you evildoer."
And that would be the last word. You would hear the screams of Kerry as he is tossed alive into a fiery furnace to be tormented forever.

I think Kerry thinks he is Christ. Remember how DemocRATS criticized Bush for his references to God? As RUSH says DemocRATS always criticize the things they themselves do or believe.

Because Bush and those running the GOP are lukewarm conservatives. As result, if Bush loses, failing to capitalize on the support for traditional marriage may be his undoing.
It's just more evidence that getting Republican elected isn't good enough. Liberal Republicans must be shunned and enough conservatives need to step up and constantly apply pressure on Bush and those running the GOP.
The biggest issue if Bush gets reelected will be the issue of judges. If he doesn't have to run for reelection, it will be interesting to see if the judges are as conservative as they have been. There can be no more David Souters nominated .

I received it as an e-mail. Google a couple of key phrases to see if there is a link available.

KERRY CAN JUST SHOVE IT...
There is only one union and marriage, that being between
a man and woman. Nothing else will never, ever be acceptable.

Thanks for the link.
I tend to agree with whoever said that Kerry may have just done something out of moral arrogance that is extremely Not Smart.
IBM employees used to call it a "career-limiting move".

The biggest issue if Bush gets reelected will be the issue of judges. Well, I think we're going to be disappointed there. The few who've been discussed as appellate nominees or potential SCOTUS nominees have been pro-abortion, pro-Roe RiNO's. "Economic conservative" Rotary Club types, similar to Kennedy and Souter (although Souter had no palpable track record -- and barely a pulse -- when he came up, so who knew?).
Both Reagan nominees, Kennedy and O'Connor continue to swing like a rusty gate. I think both of them voted with the majority in the Lawrence decision, which pretty much showed us what they're made of, juridically.

Today's gospel reading (Maronite Rite), was on the Final Judgement, when our Lord will separate those who "fed, clothed and visited Him", from those who did not. Our pastor used this gospel to deliver a very powerful homily on the election. He said the Catholic Church can't dictate how to vote; they are responsible to remind us though of church teachings. There is NO way a christian can endorse a candidate who is pro-abortion! There is no way a a christian can endorse a candidate who seeks to destroy the traditional family. We as catholics have a duty to examine the stands taken by all politicians and vote accordingly. God bless this priest!!!

In the Catholic tradition, responsible citizenship is a virtue; participation in the political process is a moral obligation.

"I believe in the church and I care about it enormously," said the Massachusetts senator. "But I think that it's important to not have the church instructing politicians. That is an inappropriate crossing of the line in America." LOL, that's like saying I believe in the Catholic Church to a point, so don't confuse me with its teachings because, I have my mind made up.
