New 60 Minutes Charge: The President failed secure the Venus de Milo's Arms
CBS - Kenneth Frequencies ^ | 10/28/2004 | Stan Rather

Just breaking... 60 Minutes story on de Milo Memo to air Sunday... Network vows to find more evidence between now and then.

UNSCOM inspector Mohammed de Milo irrefutably declares that that Venus' arms were present in Falouvrejah prior to war. "We inspected statues for years before the war, and had them under our seal. We are very familiar with the undraped infidel whore, the lusty marble, she is so big and dominating. How we would watch her. Then when Baghdad fell, the Americans were only interested in the Saddam Statues. In the looting the cold and sultry lady's arms were taken!"

Arms... gone!

de Milo and International Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Mohammed ElBaradei are focusing their efforts to recover the lost arms on Las Vegas, Nevada. "The people are hospitable, and a number of dancers have contacted us with leads. We like the weather," explained ElBaradei.

Speaking from the stump in Ohio, Democrat Presidential candidate John Kerry seized the initiative. "Once again President Bush has shown why this is the wrong whore at the wrong time. I would have done better by her. I've been in the Senate for 20 years. I have served with Senator Kennedy. I have plans for these situations. Go Wolverines!"

Walking precincts late at night in Provincetown Massachuesetts, Democrat running-mate John Edwards stated "Naked! Naked lady!" while giggling and tossing his hair.

Campaign Spokesman Joe Lockhart declared "President Bush allowed the Venus' arms to be looted because he doesn't want women to have control over their own bodies."

Vice President Dick Cheney, when asked for comment, pointed out that the Venus de Milo is under French jurisdiction.

Must've broken in when the Louvre guards were sipping their cognac.

I want, no, demand to know: where was The Rove?

Lol.
Actually, intelligence agents stole the arms and gave them to terrorists who are now displaying them thru AP.

It is also widely discussed that this criminal dereliction of duty to the art world is much, much deeper than this single incident. Credible sources say that the missing half of Monalisa's smile disappered under Bush's watch and huge portions of classical archeological ruins are now being classified as missing!

More information later as this story develops...

I'm sure the U.N. took 'the arms' so that they could continue to pat themselves on the back.

And where, pray tell, is the Arc of the Covenant. Probably in Jerry Falwell's basement. Snarfed by rascally, right-wing, religious Republicans!

YES!!! We must all remember how powerful ridicule has been on the side of the Left, especially when trumpted through the Old Media. But you are the New Media! And it upsets The Balance of Nature when used against them. Sort of like their horse or their dog talking back to them. How Dare they?

KEEP IT UP!!! WE ARE THE WORLD ... WE ARE THE CHILDREN ...

Bush lied, Venus' arms were denied....

Hasn't Kerry consistently voted for arms reduction? Now look what happened. Venus is unarmed.

And the Dems blame Bush for it.

For shame.
